Get real. People panic & will sell. They'll sit quiet & square off their short positions. BUT, all of this only helps the IB to ensure they don't lose a SEN off the whole exercise.

Fundamentals of the industry are not in question at all here. It's so strong, that I sense the profits will sustain all the way till 2023. Irrespective of the status of the pandemic itself.

THRASH "Structured Warrants". Why should I be put in a situation where the IB has to match it's estimation of a share based on the Exercise Price of a CFD ? THAT is the point. I am sure that's the same with a majority of people here.

You can keep talking all you want about fundamentals. UNLESS & UNTILL everyone wakes up to the reality that these instruments are simply Paper Thrash, nothing will change.

If anyone on this forum has actually made money from Structured Warrants, please let me know. I'm interested to collate a data-base of the gains & losses these PAPER THRASH has caused to people and to the Economy.

AlvinTSK, you forget that CFD's are banned in several countries including the USA, Hong Kong & India for a reason. They distort the valuation of a company and it's performance and ONLY the issuer gains. Everyone else loses.

Bro, the only thing that matters to the IB is Money. The SW's are a phenomenal money spinner for them. They have made Billions from the SW's (Actually I hate that word, It's called CFD's world over).

An Approximate formula to arrive at target prices for the IB’s based on the Warrants.
The formula is:

SP – Settlement Price
CMP – Current Market Price
EP – Exercise Price
ER – Exercise Ratio
• We need to assume the SP (Settlement Price) to be the Issue Price.
CMP = (SP X ER) + EP

Example C81 – Recently Expired
SP – 0.15
ER – 5
EP – 5.667
CMP = (0.15 X 5) + 5.667

CMP = RM 6.417
VWAP was RM 6.3466

Settlement Price (SP) was RM 0.1359 instead of RM 0.15

If you check the same formula against the expired CFD's on any counter (Even other industries), you'll get a clearer picture.

Request anyone who is convinced to "RAISE YOUR VOICE AGAINST THIS GROSS INJUSTICE TO INVESTORS"

I just heard from a guy who had bought C81 from the market at around 50 Sen per Warrant. He held it through expiry yesterday. Guess what ? He is getting paid 13.59 Sen. Incredible

This is no way to value Companies. My organization has Investment in several markets and the KLSE is the only place I've seen such blatant manipulation. Big money always will control counters over some period of time. This is the most comprehensive Rip Off by the Investment Banks of the common man.
