@yanz77 If you read the article carefully, you will note that GI Healthcare Resources Sdn Bhd has merely agreed to sponsor 10,000 doses of Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine for emergency use in Malaysia for frontline workers, especially medical officers and the police Malaysian frontliners. Emergency use refer to special authorization granted by NPRA, MOH prior to completion of phase III clinical studies to be used for frontliners and/or vulnerable groups. Nowhere in the article was it mentioned that GI Healthcare Resources Sdn. Bhd will be involved in the distribution of the vaccine.

Anyway the operator will decide which direction the share price will move tomorrow. So lets see.

@MadCow75 Even if mtouch gets the deal with Fosun Pharma for Pfizer Vaccine, i believe it will only take a small slice of the cake for vaccines due to logistical hurdles in distributing vaccines at -70C. I believe Moderna Vaccine which has slightly higher efficacy compared to Pfizer Vaccine plus lower storage temperature will be chosen over Pfizer Vaccine (See below for storage temperature of Moderna Vaccine). Both are mRNA vaccines. Furthermore Moderna is part of Covax. Covax will cover 10% of Malaysia's population. The balance (60%) will most probably come from Sinopharm Vaccine.
