Govt loss big chunk of tax collection from BAT due to decrease in profit.

Rough calculation:
previous net profit 1.2billion x 24%=tax collected RM288 million
Now net profit 300 million x 24% = tax collect RM 72 million

loss in tax collection by govt = RM288 million - 72 million = RM 216 million.

To collect this extra RM 216 million, govt will do sth to curb illegal cigarattes..

The deep fall in share price will bring attention to gov't which is indeed a good news to shareholders.
