Hi Beluga, The link you posted is true as an overall for the hospitality business. However companies with a very strong balance sheets will thrive as they would not have shuttered their operations unlike many others including their competitors. With well to do consumers still having the means to travel, which they will once borders open and quarantines are no longer required, especially vaccine passports, like Thailand has just said today, if you are inoculated, you are welcome at the 3rd quarter, which is the summer in Europe and most are expected to be vaccinated. Malaysia and the neighbouring countries will do the same. The travellers then will opt for high end hospitality as they would be the ones who can afford the costly flight tickets. I would expect a counter like YTL to really pick up by mid year.

True fortunefire but I think that is not even a set back for them in terms of business, it would have been a bonus as the negotiations were running for many years.

YTL does not do deals with the Syndicate and operators, it will rise purely on merit and real business but have to be patient. Covid cases will have sudden drop in developing countries as mass vaccinations going on. Travel and Leisure will open up soon. Buy now and check at the middle of the year. You will be glad. Need to keep this company alive . It enabled most Malaysians to fly. It is a Malaysian icon. All vaccines starting to work well in developing countries. Only a matter of a few months before most have plunging Covid cases and travel opening up. This is a once in a lifetime price. Can buy and pass to your grandchildren. Price should come back to normal levels by 2022.
