@Ikanjerung, If you follow the Zoom interview with Khairy, he mentioned there's nothing to stop private sector from supplying to private hospitals. That's where the real business is where people are willing to pay for it. I believe that's why Zuelig Pharma came into the picture. They have existing distribution, logistics and marketing experience. Of course Government can buy direct, but at what price and does that conflict existing arrangement? Don't expect China is going to sell at subsidised cost. Then again, MOU not signed yet, let alone agreement.

He worked with the Zuellig Pharma Group from 1999 until 2012 across its operations in

expanded the market presence of Zuellig Pharma in the respective countries by growing
revenue, increasing distribution portfolio and embarking on mergers and acquisitions.

He graduated from the University of Applied Science, Mainz, Germany in 1993 with a Diploma
in Business Administration (“Diplom-Betriebswirt”) and completed leadership courses with
International Institute of Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland on Advanced
Strategic Management and Orchestrating Winning Performances. He is also a certified medical
representative by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Frankfurt, Germany.

What we learned from Zoom interview, Khairy did mention there's nothing to stop private companies from supplying to private sector. I believe that's the direction of Kanger. It is not dependent on Government apart from approvals and registration with MOH. And if FDA and WHO approves it, I see no reason why Malaysian approvals cannot be obtained.

Shows that Kanger is now appointing and employing people with expertise in vaccine distribution. Confidence is growing in this product day by day.

I am a longer term investor. This counter is not for short term or those who want quick price movements. It is long haul. The entry price now is low. I am confident as reports are coming in. NPRA did a good job by sharing info. We all will share if we come across any information. I hope all investors here will make good money. But please trade with caution. Nothing is guaranteed in life. Right now, Kanger is very cheap. Buy Buy Buy. But wait till I buy first, ok?

If a company announce a MOU and not even an agreement for a vaccine which is not even developed yet and its share jumped from 10sen to 70sen within days, that is pure speculation. Not even qualify to be an investment. But I take my hats off to them as they were M&E contractors. Just my 2 sen.

Vaccine development is like an approaching locomotive. Slow but definitely moving forward each day. Nothing can stop it. It is a matter of time, weeks if not months away from approval. You can cast doubt on Chinese vaccines, but there is Russian, UK, US and even Indonesia types now being developed. Not forgetting there will be JV to manufactures these vaccines. And even Malaysia is looking at filling and bottling facilities.
The next thing in demand would be syringes but is there any Bursa counters on this?

I worry Niis is placed on back burner as budget is more for Covid19 related projects. It would be like ECRL awarded but cannot proceed status. What do you guys think?

Kanger is appointed by Sinopharm China. That means upon getting Malaysian's approval, it can buy in ready to use vaccine which must be approved by WHO.It does not need to go through Pharma/ Dpharma but as a direct seller to hospitals. I think the MY Government never say it is mandatory that vaccine distribution must go through Pharma and DPharma. Am I right?

PETALING JAYA: A special Cabinet meeting is being held in Putrajaya attended by all ministers to discuss Budget 2021.

A source said the views of the ministers are being sought for the budget, which will be tabled in the Dewan Rakyat on Nov 6.

“All the ministers are at the meeting,” he said, adding that it is being chaired by Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.

Budget 2021 comes amid the Covid-19 pandemic that has caused many businesses to close and forced thousands out of their jobs.


The opposition has been pushing for more allowances and assistance for businesses, including the tourism and service sectors, which are among those badly hit.

No Cabinet reshuffle

The source ruled out a Cabinet reshuffle, saying Muhyiddin is keen on getting a fresh mandate from the people.

“An election is the only way to move forward to get the rakyat’s mandate,” he said.


Another source told FMT that Barisan Nasional, PPBM and PAS divisions have been asked to name their candidates for GE15.

The division chiefs are in the midst of listing their candidates, he said, while a “political ceasefire” takes hold between Umno and PPBM.

“The seat negotiations among BN, PAS and PPBM are ongoing with the majority of them agreed upon. Now each party has been told to submit the names of the candidates,” he said.

The source said some groups had been pressuring for snap polls to be held as early as next month but “everything has been put on hold because of Covid-19”.

He said the people will not forgive the politicians if the polls were held now as the number of positive cases has been hovering around 700 to 800 a day recently.

“They are just waiting for the numbers to come down,” he added.

I would choose a inactivated vaccine which is based on dead cultured virus over any other types. At least when it go into my body, it is still dead. Anytime better than live ones.
