WUHAN, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) -- The city of Wuhan in central China has started the emergency use of COVID-19 vaccine candidates on certain key groups of people, the municipal government said Monday.

The vaccination, available at 48 designated clinics in 15 districts, began on Dec. 24, targeting some key groups of people aged between 18 and 59, said He Zhenyu, deputy director of the center for disease control and prevention in Wuhan, capital of Hubei Province.

Those receiving the vaccine need to take two shots with an interval of four weeks, said He at a press briefing.

China need to inoculate 50 million in next 3 mths using combined output of all manufacturers. How long will it take to inoculate 1.6b before it can start active export to Malaysia? Already now Sinopharm has preorders of 500 million doses.

Yes, so far all good up to point of approved plans by MOH. I am asking for the timescale so that can get idea timing. So far read Cansino approved for emergency use only. No info on Cansino submitted data for general registration.

How long take time to build facility and testing & commissioning?
How long to get it accredited and final approval?
When can Cansino get approval (soon?) and ready to ship out in bulk. They still have hundreds of million preordered domestically and overseas.

Even instant noodle factory need time to perfect recipe and market acceptance.

For any new factory to stabilise and establish new product lines, it will take 2 to 3 years before profits can be realised. No such thing as over night success in new builds, start producing efficiently, marketing, stock and instant sales. Business don't run this way.

I believe without vaccine, prices will stay low. Market hype is based on vaccine sentiments. Take out vaccine.. what price will it be?

@Steady, Kanger appointed Zuellig as the importer, distributor, permit holder, etc...at the same time they appointed Kstar as a sales agent for private clinics.

Search the MOH NPRA web site for registered, licensed importer, you won't find Kanger, Bintai, Solution, HWGB. But you will find Zuellig Pharma with more than 100 registrations.

Moral of the story, vaccine dream is over. What ever hope or dream, wake up. At the same time, I also hope I am proven wrong. At least some will still make bit of money.
