i3Value, do you have knowledge why there is huge return of deteriorated processed chicken product in just announced quarter result. I hardly recall any similar case in past Layhong quarter result. It 's really intriguing most of us here.

If market can't accept nutriplus processed chicken product or competitive is stiff or market is over supplied, no use for layhong to even have NH joint's product. Unless it can find more oversea market.

Result may out today. The result may not as good as last year corresponding quarter, my worst case scenario is 5 to 6 million. If good then could be 8 million or higher. However it is just my estimate only.

Layhong, LTKM, Teoseng result gonna be very good for coming OCT to DEC quarter. Teoseng could be the most profitable among them.

OMGOMG: 8 to 10 million
Sebastian Sted Power: 4.6 million

Expect additional cost for operation cost due to new plant commence operation and impairment cost due to culling of bird.

Based on the past history of 2q result, if any thing can be vindicated from it, good result normally will be publicized in earlier date. But l don't this is always the case. Result probably will make public on next week. Today is unlikely the case.

Next quarter result /4 quarter 2018 of Teoseng is estimated to be even better than current quarter.

Egg production per day: Teoseng VS Layhong: 3.7 million VS 3 million. Note that main revenue from Teoseng is egg production, no broiler production and food processing

Teoseng quarter result out. Higher eggs price coupled with lower raw material cost pushes profit up tremendously.

This compare to the culled hen..... hence the impairment is minimal.

Farm needs more hen in order to keep the egg production consistent through out the year. Therefore the flock of hen is huge number.

Goinvest88, thanks for sharing. My estimate for impairment due to culling of bird is minimal as the number of hen is much much bigger than the culled number of hen. Heard someone said that the affected kandang started to operational again last month.

Moneysifu, l' didn't specifically point to you however since your ID is with SIFU, you may think that I'm referring to you.
Basically this is what l noticed in forum. When price down we hardly notice any sifu comment, once rebounce all kind of sifu will appear one by one. I still remember many year ago how air Asia plunge from 1.80 to . 78 in just few month time. When price dismayed or has been knocked down severely, all the sifu once active in given advice was suddenly silent and disappeared.

When layhong down all sifu keep quit. When up a bit they start to appear and boast. What a sinister !

Annjoo having one of its furnace breakdown years ago according to news/ rumour. Those heard that was frightened until discarding holding. However, when the following Q result is out, it was proved the fear and worry is unwarranted. Probably if the rumour is true, some mitigation still can can be make by utilising it's inventory stock fair selling to avoid impacting its sales. I'm not sure if the same outcome applicable to LH.

The worst scenario is one time impairment for coming quarter. One time setback and thereafter recover.

NH invested at 0.58. My investment is much lower at this price and for size as well. Unless it is declared bankrupt, otherwise current price is attractive for me to accumulate. This is free money and l can hold for longer

Supersaiyan, about director selling warrant I can't judge what is the reason behind. One thing is the off market warrant he offered even higher at price than the open market price. Someone even willing take off market warrant at higher price than open market. I don't want to judge too.

Secondly if in the worst case its kandang is affected and all the bird is being killed, how much impairment will incurr? The kandang is not big size and is only 50% owned. Impairment can always be declared through different Q in same financial year. You know that this is true as magic accounting will exist.

That's only two farm being publicised by Government. LH is not in the list.

supersaiyan3, assume that farm is affected, it has no big impact due to it is small and 50% own of LH. Some more this kandang is ECH, how could it can be affected, hard to convince.

When stock down most of us too emotionally focus on risk side. When stock up, majority of us euphorically see only the bright side.

Cheapest poultry stock now. Any further drop from current price is worth to buy. That's personal view. Buy at your own risk. Layhong to myself is buy call now. Investment is with risk. Do what whatever you can do before buy.

i3lurker, why only trade/short? Not consider to buy some at 35 & 30 if got chance? Keep for some time may be not a bad option. May be I'm wrong, who's know.
