Not for trading. My first buy after layhong drop to 50+ before shot up to 70c. It is drop back now, Still accumulating at 40 c+ as l see the value of layhong

Plus negative EXT & INT environment..all good factor is in for short selling

Rumour on culling of 490K broiler due to Tuaran bird flu will have high impairment on net quarter result, ringgit depreciated/feed cost increase, director selling warrant, new issue.... so much negative to scare of...

Unless fundamental changed or debased, future growth of layhong still intact. The temporary stock price setback don't make mid term & long term investor worry so much. For short term trader, it matter alot. Al the noise created here will have influence on short term trader.

Those want to sell we can't stop them, those want to buy still keep buying

Yap family overall asset reduced from 214 million to current 88 million. Total 126 million diminished via market when stock price plunge from 0.97 cent to current 0.4 cent. The plunging is terrible.

AlanNga, l have not heard about the culling of broiler in any public domain news source. Have you verified the news? ANy ideas where the culling of broiler happened? Is it in Sabah?

AlanNga, for your information in 1Q 2019, about 24 million warrant exercised. For 4Q 2018 ，about 21 million warrant exercised

At end of 30 Jun 2018, yap family still hold 141 million indirect share. From this date onward until now , yap family disposed about 81 million share, remaining is about 80 million or 22%

Someone just create false picture that by link end of quarter with plunge of stock price to indicate that quarter with poor performance in order to create fear and panic to exude selling pressure on layhong?

That's not always the easy to buy at bottom and to sell at top. Some time we got it, most of the time we miss it

Market not evaluating layhong as a solid food processing instead a volatile poultry stock, same like CAB and PWF. To achieve the level same as QL, layhong still has many years to go.

We never know how low layhong price will go. Moneysifu may not look for short term gain, more likely he is farsighted to look at potential future growth

If external environment is not deteriorate further, the current price may be there to stay. To go below 40c is possible is Ext environment getting escalated and if coming result is poorer than expected.

Whether layhong can managed to do it we 'll going to witness it within two years.

Thanks for sharing. If layhong managed to transform into food processing company instead of pure poultry stock which its bottom line is very much dependent on local chicken and egg price plus impact of eed cost, its evaluation should derseve higher PE.

Projected 3Q 2019 finance result could be one of the big and good harvest

Director selling warrant via off market caused unwarranted uneasiness. It is likely those warrant are changed hand to other investor which could be exercised in later in order to raise working capital and improve cash flow for layhong.

After working relentlessly through out their expansion many year back, this year and follow year will be time for witnessing their good harvest.

External and internal market sentiment is bad coupled with increase of feed cost due to RM weaken and director selling of warrant through off market. All these uncertainty element is good to facilitate a successful short selling. Risk averse and Worried investor will lost their faith and start to cut lost. All this helped short seller to achieve short selling profit. Short seller won this round. Short selling will stop when price is too cheap to short further as value investor / fund manager will jump in to buy.

From high of 70 c recently until today 44 c. Very interesting if shortseller can short sell until price drop below 35 c

Short selling until price is too valuable until can't go down further. Just wait & see the play.

Nutriplus no promotion but layhong start promotion. Big sales. More discount more buy

If drop further below 50 cent, sure lot of people will shouting and cursing here.

Better invest for mid term to long term. Trading / speculating is never easy for layhong

Hopefully one day layhong will only be second to QL or even better

Normally 3Q is strong q for egg price and result

If the current price egg prices can maintain through 3q 2019, expecting a fantastic 3q 2019 result for layhong

Frankly, if with increased current good level of egg price, and moderate increase of feed cost, the result is only a bit better than last quarter? If this is the case, it is better for us to discard all the position in layhong.

But don't think this will be the way. How much the influence of bird flu? Is a big impact? Is that really?

The major issue in previous quarter is low egg price while production of egg improved tremendously since 4Q 2018. Couple with the rising of feed cost, the layer segment is actually making lost .

This coming quarter is going to recover

The increase of egg price is sufficient to offset the rise in feed costs. The coming quarter result is definitely much better than previous quarter.

Moneysifu buying price is below 60c. Not considered expensive. At this price, the upside is much more than the downside. If the apprentice like us can smell the fragrance of nutiplus, moneysifu should be in advance stage of knowing it.

Let see how low it can go. Value appears now. No short seller no chance to accumulate

However those value is not element to be considered by trader/ speculator

3 million egg/day, 1.8 broiler million/ month..... full utilisation of pasteurised egg liquid production....some more the incredibly good egg price for coming quarter..... all this factor is good sign for coming quarter result.
