Usually if Pavilion here giving comment, there will be occasional profit taking. People are not listening anymore because too much listening for timing of award of contract which ended up when the price is rise, profit taking is priority without looking at the company long term prospect.

Serious investors of Datasonic Berhad should consider that:-

1. Use of the plastic cards such as Visa, Amex and Mastercard are growing. Many banks set up card sales counter in the shopping centre to boost the cards application. If you go shopping, you certainly see one of them asking you to apply cards. As such, the banks need to print cards. Look at the market, only a few are printing cards and Datasonic is outstanding in this field because supply of quality cards (e.g. our new NRIC card). For example, the American Express platinum charge card is presently printed by Iris Berhad and if you have one, you would note the quality is typical low quality plastic card. Whereas the Citibank Visa Prestige card supplied by Datasonic Berhad is of high quality plastic card.

Point to remember when investing: Remember not long ago Central Bank of Malaysia will implement the new security for credit cards? That's a 30 millions in total. I understand some bank in the midst of phase out less relevant credit cards, but the numbers are still there.

2. The 3 projects proposed by the Datasonic during last UMA query has yet to be crystallised. More often than not, of rumours here and there the award will be given soon, today, 5 pm, 4 pm, next week, this week, next month, next two months, Friday the Dsonic day and etc makes the investment sentiment looks bad. Following that kind of small talks, you will observed that the rumours passed around that this is a lousy company with no future and shareholders have to keep waiting for the announcement indefinitely... If you look at the post here for the past 6 months, it is evident on record that each week there will be a number of small talks involving announcement will be made soon or then. That's really unhealthy because most young investors relying on i3investor forum as the main source to get news of Datasonic Berhad. As such, the small talks will in a way affect the investment decision making of genuine investors.

Point to remember when investing: Look at the fundamental of the company. Don't always think to make short term gain. Warren Buffet don't buy on Monday and sell on Thursday. He buys the value and brand of the company. And investors are scared of uncertainty in the company such as the small talks. Look at foreign funds are pulling out from Malaysia due to 1MDB and etc, even foreigners are afraid of uncertainty. All of us do. That's why you need to look at the fundamental of the company.

At least you look at the past history records the company directors with no bad track or criminal records.
