Starting now till End Feb, then March, how many headlines of vaccines arrival, PM vaccination, notification and updates of vaccination status do we have ?

We have plenty of good news for Genting almost on monthly-quarterly basis....

Btw I do think with Pfizer and Sinovac vaccines arriving in Feb, Msia vaccination timeline will push forward.

I do strongly believe that stage 3 18yo above public vaccination will eventually starts in SH April.

We have a couple more vaccines expected to arrive in March-April, I dont see Msia keeping them in storage and drag until May to begin, frontliner+ elderly isnt a big portion of population to begin with....

Do check back FPI past 2-3 years results, its Q3 historically speaking is the best and its biz is cyclical, and u look closely, after each QR results annoucement (and div annoucement) what you get?

Dont joke about supporting the price, Genting market cap is not what any retailers (or even any small/medium fund) can deal with, just buy at your comfortable level and wait for its growth/rebound, u can sleep well this way....

seems like market pretty red on Tech/EMS stocks, pull back seems imminent, bad timing for FPI or is it their usual Q4 trend?

Genting doubt will have a lot of downwards pressure regardless of its or GenM results or market condition (worst is what RM4? Who wants to sell to 4 btw?) .... afterall, 21th/ 26th Feb, we wil have headline of vaccine arrival and maybe even live of PM taking vaccines etc... March will sound the horn of vaccines and recovery theme....

One thing I notice during crisis, is that it is the best of times for company to restructure or expand, and Genting will coincidently reposition themselves when market is prepare to rebound or travel.

Genting Malaysia Theme Park is finally UP after almost 8-9 years and RWLV in US is about to ready by July-Sept too (first new building at the Strip for last 10 years).....

New York Hotel Expansion done, Catskill Resort has collaboration with BET365 for online gaming in New York (which set to be legalised this year and in contention for it), Genting Singapore already green without tourist required (expansion 2.0 otw but delayed due to re-designing for post Covid), Japan IR bid....

Immediate upside? 5 that it touched or almost touched months back.... EASILY....

15-20c downside vs 85c upside- is as easy and safe bet for even short 2-3 months trader to work with.... let alone those that target longer terms....

May-June - Theme Park reopening (one that has nt contributed to GenM for 8-9 years now?

July-Aug - Las Vegas - US covid case should be down significantly and who doesnt like partying in new grand place (ZOUK) - although I dont expect any profit for 1-2 years, maybe even slight loss.

RM4-5 is basically what we paying for loss making Genting with recovery future potential....

Honestly drkelvin, most of the old guys can say target below 4 becz we already have a good amount of Genting on hand and only wish to top up further if truly extremely undervalued else probably willing to wait further... But those that not onboard well... 4-4.2 actually still dirt cheap...

Anyway I am happy to keep some cash on hand and see any opportunities arise... Who knows what's going to happen next few weeks (Come On Trump!)
