The worst should be over for PCHEM. With China reopening, the way can only be up going forward

1.59 is cum dividend/distribution
Coming divvy is 5 sen
Full year 4.22 + 5 = 9.22
Net is 9.22 x 90% (roughly la, just ignore the tiny non-taxable portion) = 8.3 sen
8.3 sen / (1.59 - 0.05) = 5.3896%

When you want to discuss about divvy yield, it's better to discuss in net terms. As you want to compare to other dividend stocks e.g. Maybank, PCHEM etc which is already distributing net of tax.

About 5.5% net yield at current price

Now net yield only about 5.0%. I'd rather go for Axis

Why is admin tolerating all these personal attacks? Annoying to say the least.

Ya, to me to subscribe DRIP is a hassle. The tiny % dilution is not much of a concern. I'd rather take full cash divvy

I never take DRIP. What for getting the odd lots. And it messes up my dividend yield calculations. Just take the full cash divvy and assume that there's a mini rights issue which dilutes my % holding by a tiny bit.

Any timeframe longer than that, even if you lose a bit in share price, Maybank's dividends more than able to cover with profit.

You shouldn't be investing money that you need to use in 3 years in the share market.

Yea, this counter has been smelling like a value trap for some time already. Finally, even the analyst damn bullish on this counter, KENANGA also reduced its TP.

Dividend too stingy. If dividend is more generous I would hold

True that. On second look, I'm sceptical the renewable energy segment can sustain this dividend level going forward. Took profit and moved elsewhere. Bye Tali, thanks for the past dividends.
