Lots of interesting information above. As someone who might have a bit more insight into the company, let me try to summarise. In the beginning of the year, the management decided to go into the renewable energy business as a long term viable addition to their existing plexiglass biz which was just moving sideways mainly for the last few years. This they had already planned from last year. This gas business they bought into is only going to show significant fruition in the coming years. And yes, when it does, it will way overtake anything that their plexiglass business can ever do.
However, in April, when their plexiglass business suddenly increased multiplefold, they realised a new play was beginning as a result of covid. By May, when their order book for plexiglass was full till end of the year, they knew that they had a current play (plexiglass) and future play (renewable energy) brewing. The perfect storm. And the share price was only 7 sen around end May! Directors then knew that they had a rm1 share price staring at their faces and nobody in the world knew about it. If the gas business takes off, which won't be so soon, then this could be way more than rm1. But that's project speculation for now. Something companies like GPacket thrives on to drive up their share price. But what is real for now is the plexiglass business. Order full until early next year and increasing by the day. On forward fair value, its at rm1. This you can take as real. Anything beyond rm1 will be more a combination of the plexiglass and the renewable gas in play.

themonstik, seems like you have similar inside insight too. Good job.

Please don't set your own targets of rm2 la. I didn't say that. Look at the forward PE ratio and do your calculations. Rm1 is the fair value

Their orders only shot up in April. In May, they were already reaching full order by December. Today their order full until next year And they also increased their selling price. They followed the glove company strategy.

I chose the above 2 examples because they have similar characteristics to Asia Poly ie covid 19 play with burgeoning booming business as a result of the crisis.

For those who fear correction, and you have every right to, then please go ahead and take your profit. But before you decide, just check out the 6 month stock graph for stocks this year that have risen fast from 15 sen to 80 sen plus. I can give you 2 examples.. Careplus and HLT. Correction only came a lot later for these 2 examples.

As long as son is 20% or more discount to mother after you take into account the exercise price then yes

aarontan1987, without wanting to reveal too much, just stay the course with me until rm1. Then we re assess the inside hands direction again. As long as you still see me here in this thread, my skin is still in the game.

themonstik, yes nicely summed up.

If everyone holds on to their stock , the new buyers can only buy at a higher price. Pure economics. Hold steadfast for the journey. It won't take long to see triple or quadruple returns. Inside hands are aiming way higher than the current price now, let me tell you.
2020-07-02 16:42 | Report Abuse
Hold for RM 1, guys. That's the insider target.

I use my remisier so not sure how to if you are playing maybank trading account or whatever. I will buy the warrant (assuming 8.5sen), pick it up T + 2, then issue separate bank draft to the brokerage house for the exercise price (10sen). Need to fill in a form provided by my remisier to convert the shares. Then wait 2 to 3 weeks and voila u have the mother share for 18.5 sen. Once converted you can hold or sell according to market price for the mother at the time.
2020-07-02 10:58 | Report Abuse
lau9639, indeed a good discount if you believe AP mother share will be at this same 22 sen price or higher.. Process to convert takes anywhere between 2 to 4 weeks. If you have spare bullets, go ahead. I can bet the mother share will be a lot higher in couple of weeks from now.

Guys, no need to watch the video. Asia Poly directors, kind souls that they are, have been telling their friends, relatives and neighbours to buy and hold few months from last month already. Take the big hint. Say no more.

themonstik, 50%of capacity doesn't mean you can't take 100% of orders. They would have scrambled most of the orders through June in order to realise the revenue for Q2.

For those who only started playing stock market this year, Careplus was only a 20 sen as early as January this year. Go figure.

jay1122, anything bought at these prices is under fair value. Reason why this share hasn't flown yet is due to the mediocre Q1 they just announced. But bear in mind that the Q1 only covers Jan to March. If you read about plexiglass demand globally, it only took off in April. Asia Poly themselves have given the biggest clue in their note 19 in their Q1 qr. Maxed out order book to the end of the year, increased selling prices and decreasing raw materials prices. By the time Q2 qr comes around, you won't see this price anymore. Btw, I only found out about this gem from a fairly 'inside' source. So my entering this counter is not just from my own due diligence but also a tip off from a fairly reliable source. Do your own due diligence yourself before going in. And once entered, please don't give your share away if you make few cents only. Hold for at least 3 months.

To put things into perspective for the short sighted traders, Pearl Glove sold out for 22m along with the liabilities that they were carrying, which was substantial. If I was the owner of Pearl, I might do that too. Peace of mind. For AT, moving forward, they will be looking at quarterly revenue of minimum 25 million, possibly a lot more. How do you think they will raise the funds to pay for the expansion of production lines and the existing liabilities in the near future ? The rights issue only helped to cover the purchase cost of 22 million. The operators are now pressing down to collect heavily from the weak holders. Once these jokers are flushed out, you will be seeing this share jump. For those who are wondering about my position, I have been holding at 8, 9.5 and 10 sen. Here for the 1 year return, not the 1 week return.

tklim, your target price is way too conservative bro. The insiders have already valued this x5 the current share price based on this fy's coming earnings.

To those who have not realised yet the fact that Asia Poly's Q2, q3 and q4 order book is fully maxed out. As stated in note 19 in their recent Q1 qr. Talk about hidden gold indeed.

Calculating Abbey, even with solid gold tips (which this one is) I do my due diligence first before jumping in.. Lol
2020-06-29 20:27 | Report Abuse
Doing my rough calculations, supposing they smash q2, q3 and q4 out of the park (rm4 to 5 million earnings per quarter x 3 quarters), they are looking at rm15 million profit for the Fy. Entirely possible as orders are maxed out and raw materials prices have gone down. Translates to about 3 sen eps from the total shares of 486 million. Forward PE ratio of 25 = 25 x 3 = 75 sen share price.
This is the most undervalued stock in the whole klse now.

Stereotypical flaming going on here with the pisang goreng comments on Zuliana. Keep it civil. Every thread will have the pro and against teams. As long as you are making money, then be happy. If you are losing money, then keep holding or cut loss. Simple strategy. Comments here are just noise. If you notice, how much you say the counter is good or bad, it doesn't really influence anything. The big operators are the ones who decide. Us retailers just follow only.

Not a team anti or team pro myself. Made earlier supermax trades 2 months ago and made OK profits out of it. Now just tracking this thread occasionally. Getting quite heated here I must say. As a part time chartist, I see a head and shoulders just formed on this chart. This usually indicates further downward trend for the time being. Stay cautious!

Between 8 to 10 sen, the operators and insiders collected a fk load of shares last few days. Most retailers were holding at prices of 12 to 14 sen. Those retailers who held on, congrats for having the balls. From hereon, I believe you will be duly rewarded multiple times.

Terrible comparison with GPacket. Supercomnet is a rising star with cash in the bank. GPacket is heavily debt ridden with no special market niche.

If applying PE ratio 20, then it's 60 sen. If PE ratio 30, it's 90 sen. That's how IBs will assess the value of the stock usually unless they know something else we don't.

Almost went in this week until I did my own calculations. Based on Q1 profit of rm4 million, assuming they close on rm20 million profit for 2020, their eps is 3 sen based on 643 million total shares. That amounts to pe ratio 20 = 60 sen only.
Just applying the kky way to assess the stock.
