lctay81 - Keladi:

Trading in a symmetrical triangle. It is seeing good support at 0.32 and should find further strong support at 0.305. The immediate resistance of 0.345 has been taken out today and is now attempting to overcome the 0.37 resistance before heading towards 0.39. It has broken out of its symmetrical triangle today but as always, traders usually wait for at least 3 trading days to confirm the breakout is valid. If it is valid, then it is a bullish breakout. You may want to consider a stop loss at 0.31.

untung99 - Prtasco:

After hitting a high of 2.13 and ex-dividend, it is now in a correction mode. It seems to be settling on its support level at 1.93. Strong support can also be expected at 1.90. However, if the 1.90 support is penetrated, it would retrace further. So, you may want to set a stop loss at 1.89. Immediate resistance is at 2.00.

Sorry, we do not advise traders on buying and selling stocks. Trading decisions belong to you and you yourself only as each individual has their own risk profile and financial budgets. However, should you decide to trader this stock, we suggest you draw up a trading plan before you trade and do remember to set a stop loss in case the trade turn against you.

Update Reading:
As expected, it went into consolidation and is currently testing its support at 0.25.

tsy88 - Sign:

It first broke out of its symmetrical triangle on 29/5. It briefly retraced back into the triangle and broke out again on 11/6 and is currently bullish. Today, it has surpassed its major resistance of 1.59 with ease and on very high volume. Immediate support = 1.50. TP 1 is 1.74. Yes, it will be riding into unchartered territory.

Nana88 - Weida:

It has been trading sideways in a rectangle between the support line at 1.59 and the resistance line at 1.69. The gap resistance of 1.65/1.67 has been filled on 28/6 with volume. At the moment, it looked bullish supported with good volume however the bullish hanging man candle on 30/6 could signaled a potential price reversal but subject to confirmation of subsequent candle formations. Should its bullish momentum be sustained, we can expect it to test its resistance levels at 1.72, 1.74 and 1.82. Immediate support is at 1.67 and any weakness in its price should find strong support at 1.61.

pathew/cherry tomato - Eforce:

A hammer is formed during a decline in price. I believe the candle on 27/6 is neither a hammer nor a hanging man. It is a bearish harami. Potentially, it could come in for a consolidation. Whether there will be an immediate pullback or not, we will have a better indication with today's candle formation. So far, its price seems to be holding up well today.

Pathew ya confusing. But I think it should be hanging man as it form after long bullish.

27/6 can consider as hammer or hang man?

Nana88 - Salcon:

Update: As expected, it is currently in consolidation with an immediate support of 0.935.

Earlier reading as at Jun 25, 2014 10:27 AM :-
Broke on 4/6 with volume and is bullish. However, based on the candle formation of 23 & 24/6, the bears stopped the bulls in its track when it opened at the previous day's close of 1.00 and drove price down to close at 0.975, the opening of the previous day. So, you can expect some consolidations to take place. Support (S)1 = 0.96 ; S2 = 0.91 ; S3 = 0.875. Immediate resistance = 0.99. If you are trading this counter, depending on your risk profile, you may want to set a stop loss at 0.875

Juntan - GPA:

After the high of 0.15 on 12/5, it has gone into consolidation and is currently in range bound trading with support at 0.11 and resistance at 0.135. It needs to break its resistance at 0.135 with volume in order to scale higher.

GPA-WA:

Seems to be bottoming out on a down trend and trading in a rectangle with 0.005 support and 0.02 resistance.

I don't really know what you mean by short term money but I assume you are referring to a short term trade on this stock. We can present you with the TA reading but we can't advise you whether it is good for a short term trade. You will have to make your own decision.

Please note that with GPA, even with a break out, some traders would still want confirmation that the break out is sustainable by observing that its price stay above 0.135 for at least 3 trading days and with volume. If not, you may be caught in a false breakout. Such stocks have a lot of overhang and you will notice from the chart that each attempt to scale higher were met with selling pressures. So, your timing becomes crucial.

tsy88 - Silk:

It remains bullish and yes, at the moment, it is consolidating. A break in its immediate resistance of 1.03 with volume will signal a breakout to resume its bullish run. It has found strong support at 0.96. Upon a successful breakout, when we would expect it to take down the resistant of 1.05 in the process, it will carry TPs of 1.11, 1.16 and 1.20. You may want to set a stop loss at 0.95.

tsy88 - usually resistance would turn into support. Not necessarily highs will become support. In EG's case, i would say the support levels are at 0.79 and 0.755.

You can set your trailing stop like that too. There are many ways of setting it depending on individuals. It also depends on your cost price and how much risk you want to take. You may want to work from the highs, 0.875 in this case. If the stock trends down losing momentum, a trader may want to lock in profits if it hits, say, 0.85 or 0.84 before it goes down further. A profitable trade can become marginally profitable and in turn can become a losing trade. The main objective is to protect and realize the profits.

tsy88 - ...hahaha.... glad you felt confident that EG is bullish. However, kindly note that TA is only a guide and the same goes with target prices. TA tells a story of what happened to the stock BUT it does not predict the movement of the stock. But it does assist us in making an intelligent guess as to what might happen. At the end of the day, we are still at the mercy of the market which as I have always reiterated, is unpredictable. Target prices are based on calculations and projections and are just guidelines as well. Many times I find that I do not end up selling at the target prices.

When the share is trending up, do remember to set a trailing stop to protect your profits in case the stock does not progress as what we expected.

Tiong Yong Soon - Icon:

As the stock is newly listed, there can be no meaningful reading of its TA. However, various factors could be in play and we can only speculate about it. For starters, successful IPO applicants would be liquidating upon listing and probably investors may not agree with its valuation against the current market price. There are various fair value valuations out there ranging from 2.01 to 2.10. So, the potential up side from the current market price and listing price may not be attractive to them. But usually, it takes sometime for a newly listed stock to stabilize before we can see some form of trend.

As I gather, they did a rights issue ex-May and a stock split on 26/6. As you are aware, a stock split does not impact its market capitalization. Usually, after a stock split, its price comes down but in this case, it went up instead. Base on this movement, we can't really say that it is high compared to before. Probably investors see that this stock is still undervalued and hence, drove the price up. I think its fair to say that in order to conclude if its price is expensive at the current market value or not, we will need to look at its intrinsic value.

spec988 - mahsing:

It is consolidating in a symmetrical triangle. Immediate resistance is 2.29. A break in this price with volume would signal a potential breakout to continue its uptrend, usually to be confirmed by 3 successive days closing above 2.29. Immediate support rest at 2.25/2.26 and if broken, the next support is 2.21. A breakout would see it test its resistance at 2.32. Once this resistance is broken, it would carry a TP1 of 2.39 and TP2 of 2.50.

EG:

Bullish. The current leg of the price run up started on 28/5. It consolidated in a pennant and broke out from the resistance of 0.79 on 24/6 on high volume, 2.8 times the 30 MA volume. It carries an immediate target of 0.93 if the immediate resistance of 0.835 is taken out with volume.

Immediate support = 0.79 ; S2 = 0.755
Immeditate resistance = 0.835

Just want to touch on the other parts of your request. As you may probably be aware, share splits dilutes the shares. We would analyze its TA just like any other stocks except that we need to keep at the back of our head that the drop in price after the ex-date was a result of the share split and not due to any fundamental change in the company's performance.

In 2013, revenue increased 8.6% while profits before tax jumped 15%. It has manageable debt levels with positive cash flow from operations and a healthy balance sheet. So, financially it is sound.
