Lim said for the Industrial Collaboration Programme (ICP) for KLAV-27 with a contract value of RM1.7 billion, BHC is committed to using at least 35 per cent local content valued at RM600 million.
For the RM473 million contract to refurbish the two-coach train sets for the Kelana Jaya line, Lim said BHC has agreed to broaden the local supplier data base for rolling stock.

“The supply of local components and services by 14 local companies is worth an estimated RM100.7 million,” he said, adding local companies’ involvement in the supply of components and services at competitive rates could ensure the rail sector’s sustainability. - Bernama

Gkent and MRCB has the experience in LRT3. With their past records, I am sure they stand a good chance getting more similar projects. According to Gkent management, they are still working on new proposal and will continue tender whenever they has the opportunity.

Getting new Rail, HSR and LRT contract is not easy. But it's possible as Gkent got the experience and specialist. To PH, cost is the most important.

Don't know. No announcement. Could be open tender. Gamuda good in building tunnel, road and fly over. But rail or train ? I think Gkent better. Could partnership.

As I said before, current price 1.24 is the fair value for Gkent even without any new rail projects. LRT3 still got a few years to go. If in future got any new Rail projects will be a BONUS.
