Gadang Holdings Berhad (“Gadang”) is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Gadang Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd had on 11 December 2015 been awarded by PRPC Utilities and Facilities Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary under the PETRONAS Group, to undertake a project known as “UTILITIES, INTERCONNECTING, OFFSITE (UIO) FACILITIES: PROCUREMENT, CONSTRUCTION AND COMMISSIONING (PCC) OF CIVIL & INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS AT STORM WATER EAST AREA (PACKAGE 14-0402)” at Pengerang, Johor, for a total contract sum of RM185.0 million (“the Contract”).

The Contract will commence from the date of the Contract award with a contract period of twenty (20) months.

The Contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of Gadang Group for the financial year ending 31 May 2016 onwards.

None of the directors or major shareholders of Gadang or persons connected with them has any interest, whether direct or indirect in the Contract.

The contract value amounts to 185 million.

Positive catalysts ahead: (1) Release of Value-Cap fund (2) Ongoing MRT 2 and Pengerang Project releases (3) Quarterly report for second quarter FY2016. So, what are you waiting for?

The management never takes back its words once it has promised to its shareholders.

Frankly, I am neutral. Gadang is the best counter that I have ever seen in Bursa in term of cash adequacy, business prospect and management credibility.
