Look at EG (8907) today, another clear cut pushing mother shares for warrants conversion, to make the warrants in the money.

Put yourself in the major shareholders(MS) position, what would you do:
1) allow warrants to expire, nobody benefits
2) allow warrants to be in the money, MS can either sell in the open market and reaps big $$$ or convert to mother shares too
3) $$$ collected from the conversion is needed for cash flow especially unexpected COVID-19 and more importantly, PTRANS has big bank loans to service
