just bought a few PETRONM today between RM4.48 to RM4.50, entering my first petroleum retail counter,

hopefully the price is low enough now and future earning is good and consistent

also only because company is making losses few years in the past we can collect it cheap now just right when engine is started

@squirtle look at it's past record dividend la, dividend stopped only because company started making losses, now only the company is back on track to earn money, give it few more quarter of positive gain and highly probably dividend will resume

@million76 hard to say it can still maintain half of the EPS in future, that's remain to be seen in the future, but I rather stay out 1st looking for other more consistent EPS undervalue counter

no point to stay loyal here while it's future is uncertain while I still I got profit in hand

if this counter continue to downtrend I might consider to reenter at some point, need a better entry position here

Shipping and Marine Services Division
Harbour-Link container shipping activities are facing stiff competition with main liner operators
who have deployed large tonnages into Intra-Asia and East Malaysian markets. Container
freight rates have been eroded drastically since December 2022 to the present level. We expect
the freight rates shall remain until the year end.
Domestic trade within Malaysia is also facing headwinds in freight rates and lower cargo
volume.
However, our tugs and barges operations and shipping agencies services are still consistent and
stable and we able to generate stable revenues.
Overall, based on the above, our shipping and marine services division shall be expecting lower
revenue and profit for the next financial year.

just now morning after give up I see no people queue at RM0.865 so I decided to park and try my luck there. I then went out and just come back to found out that it got matched before price goes back to RM0.9 level again.

first time here, impressed with it's latest QR EPS and found that it got very much net cash balance, finance cost is nil. sure this price can goes up back to NTA level if consistently make such good EPS in future QR. good luck all ^_^

take over of umw by sime just helped to validate the true value of mbmr's 20% perodua stacks here. when the big players trade at that price between themselves, then it is the most reasonable value we can get. big players cannot go wrong with their own valuation

@ChloeTai because UMW = RM5 at the best, 10% profit for waiting till the completion of take over if everything goes right (minor risk it got cancelled).

last time my experience with mmccorp also about the same situation, privatization price offer is RM2, but price flip flop in between 1.64 -1.95++ from announcement till completion, good thing that I managed trade some in between these price to earn some extra profit.

as for mbmr, the price is still limitless, can also go beyond NTA even without involving just for it's 20% perodua stake

looking at the buy queue, there are no genuine general market interest in this share at this price, just someone specifically trying to push up the price by eating the sell queue strategically to minimize cost.

not that I hope the share price drop, I still holding quite some stakes just in case for privatization announcement.

just reentered at RM1.10 today, the best current (fundamental to stock price) jewellery franchise in Malaysia, PE 2.64, 61% NTA discounted price. EPS still always superb regardless of gold price. definitely undervalued

@cheeseburger yeah sure management already considering all factors before taking that initiative, no company that offer rahmah price for their products that will put themselves in bad financial situation

13 EPS is lower than last QR but it is still very decent maintaining pe below 10 by itself. not to mention EPS need to be averaged out throughout the year for bigger picture

panic sell for what? panic buy maybe, DY more than 10% and is sustainable from core business EPS

satisfying QR, EPS still can maintain PE below 10, good dividend payout, as long as net cash is still positive and price still below NTA, definitely can continue to hold, after dividend exdate there will be more space for the price to fill up

just move on, there are plenty of undervalued stock out there. once sold all never watch back. choose another undervalued stagnant or downtrending stock. never chase high

remember buy low sell high. nobody can do it perfectly, buy at lowest and sell at highest.
but at least try your best to do it correctly albeit not precise, just don't do it other way round
