Reply: No, those that did not sell are people that trust the company and the investment that they had made. Just because of margin cap doesn't make Supermax suddenly become a loss making company. The fundamentals is still there. Those that sell are panic sellers and investors that has done zero research. Yes, what the IBs did was very unethical, but you should always do your research before deciding to invest in a company. Warren Buffet says, when you invest into a company, you should prepare for it to drop 50%, and even if it does drop 50%, you should not worry as you know that the company has good fundamentals. If you buy just for goreng, goodluck to you, you might as well just go Genting play baccaratt.
