Agreed with Newbie3977. YTL is on another level, their cash flow and cash reserve are nothing to worry about.

Other competitors, many have that worry, causing them to shut down slowly/sell their assets at a low price. However, for YTL, that's not the case as they still got other businesses - Cement, Utilities which are doing well.

Utilities around 50%, Cement around 20%, Construction around 15%. These 3 profit-making sectors are already totaled to 85%. The other 15% are the loss-making ones such as hotels, properties, management service etc.

Many people don't do their calculation properly, hence the selldown .

it's not 1 billion, it's 3 billion USD = RM 12 billion ringgit. not many companies in malaysia got this huge amount of cash reserve
