Re:Wirecard - EY refused to sign-off the accounts during audit. Then Kpmg was hired to perform ‘Independent’ probe.

Actually I think our beloved Govt should allow Interstate travels But No dining-in yet.

So that some people can visit their close family members and have more happiness/better mental health….

Current prices at GenT and especially for GenM, doesn’t factor in Phase 2 la…. Cos 1Qtr21 results already proven no BAU (biz as usual) even when MY casino is open…Bcos No free interstate travels allowed la!!

I think why GenT and GenM are at current prices is bcos of upcoming RWLV, summer holidays with more visitors to New York City and all Genting UK’s casinos can open at normal opening hours since 17th May….Means more revenue expected for GenT and GenM… Yay!!!

Agree @sharewiz, company with good reputation and well-establshed with reputable track record….but Integrity of the big bosses is key factor.

Dunno why EPF didn’t sell all when Serba first limit down….Unless EPF has very low average price :)

Precisely bcos GenT and GenM listed in MY, prices are also dependent on sentiments in MY.

MY is now in worst possible scenario ie Full lockdown, interstate ban, economy jialat, 90% incompetent ministers,
vaccinations not even 10% fully vaccinated yet.

So, the only way for MY to go is… Up!!
Cos everyday, more people get Vaccinated.

Free interstate travels must and will happen - up to PM…. (most of us vomit blood ady)

RWLV and GenM would benefit from recovery in USA and in UK. GenS would benefit from recovery in SG.

3Q21 results would reflect first 3 months’ of new RWLV’s revenue contribution. So, I look forward to November’s results’ release :)

Hope by November latest, 7 is in our pocket… Haha

We just have to monitor closely GenT prices….until pandemic is declared over, OR when tourists can start coming to MY, to US, to UK and to SG (whichever is earlier).

Many corporate news would appear, good quality companies would emerge even stronger from this pandemic….anything is possible.

Once GenT chooses to solidify its corporate strategies in the near future, hope we the retail investors could also benefit …..as GenT also has other non-casino businesses ie plantations, oil n gas, property in Bursa, and Cellularity’s plan for listing in the US….

Character, wealth and education are 3 separate things altogether.

Some very wealthy people are more greedy than not-so-rich people.

Some very educated people are very dishonest and/or very greedy.

Some not-so-rich people or lesser educated ones can be very ungrateful.

In other words, Character is the most important thing when we want to judge a person….not by their wealth positions or their education levels.

As long as there are more good news yet to happen, some of us feel it’s worth to hold tight and wait for the expected good news to materialise.

FF and local fund managers all have same objective ie making lots of money but their strategies may differ. Retail investors also have own personal strategies.

As long as the company is of quality, spearheaded by solid and trusted, experienced n capable CEO/MD…. investors can sleep well at night. Trust is key.

A quality company but run by mediocre CEO is only a mediocre stock.

A quality company but run by CEO who is dishonest will for sure go to Holland one day…. out of the blue..

Normal la if investors want to sell at 6,7,8 or 9 cos still pandemic mah…. Some prefer to take some profits first etc.

MY is the only country still under severe lockdowns, compared to USA, UK and Singapore. Once Genting’s businesses can start opening with free interstate travels …. another RM1.0 upside please!!

Some local IB’s analysts must be paid poorly…. Pay peanuts, get monkeys haha.
