Go check their Annual Report. and check their cash flow and balance sheet statement. Its only reserve fund number that decline due to declaring bonus dividend over the past 4 year. They should not declare the bonus if its not sustainable.

yup because the on the 7 Jan, the price is RM4.7 and the on the 8 Jan where it is the ex-date, the price is already half from the previous day RM2.35. So, no i dont think you will get any bonus share. but im not sure with what you meant by cash dividend.

Correct BenNg, if you bought on the 8 Jan then you are not entitled to the bonus share.

I assume since myeg has already roll out their foreign worker permit renewal online system for more than a year, it is better to just appoint them. Putting it to tender will also make no difference as other companies have to develop the system from scratch where myeg already have the platform. Cost wise myeg will still win the bid. But what if other company win the bid but myeg already have the system in place? Im sure it will raise more questions. It just my opinion from my own perspective. cheers

Agree with you wowozai, but I think the situation is almost similar to iris where government outsource the service and myeg already have renewal system of foreign worker ready all this while just that government need them to actually compile and do the "extra work". Wrong move by myeg when they actually tell the fund manager without making a proper bursa announcement.

If feel sad when people trapped in any counter especially those who do not have the actual cash to hold, but who to blame but yourself when investing in any counter with any proper knowledge and just follow all the noise. Been there once.

I think Competition act is totally different when it is government that outsource the service. Same goes to Iris that provide passport renewal.

IF your portfolio shows only 1000 then you better check with your dealer. Sometimes if takes a while for the bonus to reflect depending on the bank.

josephT, please do not chase any share. Do your own due diligence because anything can happen in the market. If you have cash then hold and keep on invest. If want to contra, dont be greedy.
