Dear Mr Sslee, when I jokingly said about Insas been cursed I meant the share price of Insas rather than its business operations which I have no issues. The problem is local funds totally ignore Insas. The funds that invested in Insas are all foreign funds but because of the prolonged depreciation of our ringgit these foreign funds are not buying more of Insas or in fact any Malaysian equities.

Maybe because Insas has been cursed by Witches, Warlocks, Vampires and Werewolves.

If Tropicana doesn't have minimum public spread problem it can easily buy up any amount of shares and easily push up price to beyond RM1.

For the purpose of calculating minimum public spread, any shares bought back by a company and held as treasury shares are excluded from the total number of shares. So, if the company buys back say, 0.5% of its own shares, the percentage of public spread will then be (25.12-0.5)/(100-0.5) = 24.74%

ivan9511, there's a pattern play on Tropicana. The share buy backs will go for days and then suddenly stop and price will trend down to around 82 sen, the price Danny previously sold to cronies. This is the best time to buy and hold until share buy backs push up price again.

90 sen big road block today even first thing in the morning there were already over 500,000 shares offered for sale at 90 sen, thus not possible for me to get that price if I were to try. Maybe next week you can but I want to free up capital and look for opportunities elsewhere.

LA is not really cheaper than mother. LA nominal value is 5 sen, needs two LA to convert to one mother or one LA plus 5 sen to convert to one mother.

Right now I am not looking to add Affin as I feel I can make more elsewhere in the short term. Different people have different risk appetite. For a banking stock, present price is reasonably cheap and bear in mind there's not much free float in Affin as LTAT, Boustead and Bank of East Asia Ltd already owned close to 80%. So, when a merger comes, the price will move up rapidly.
