Whatever it is.. currently Maybank's price has been curbed to stay below 8.20 as much as possible. Non-stop sell-offs once reached 8.20 observed.. hmm.. hope they failed..

Currently up about 7%.. hmm.. so how?

In the end.. up 0.2% also very difficullt, right? Resistances very tough (not only from contrarians but also from a certain financial institution).. but still managed to break a bit.. not bad !!! Hope tomorrow up further.. give some duit raya laa.. :D

RHB issued C17 with an EV of 8.20 and maturity on the 18th of July. Its normal for an issuer of a soon to expire warrant to do their best to keep down the mom's value as low as possible. In this case.. that is why the selling at 8.20 has been replenished non-stop.. to curb the advance.. similar to yesterday too.. got it? So that they dont have to pay a sen to the warrant holders? I also hope they fail !!!

Its very obvious. The blockage at 8.20 is very persistent.. and keeps on replenishing non-stop.. hmm..

Its normal for the cash warrant issuer to ensure the mom's price is kept as low as possible or below the warrant's EV when close to maturity so that the warrant's value is very minimal.. or worth "0"..

RHB will do its best to curb Maybank from exceeding 8.20 till mid next month.. how typical.. so far they've been doing a good job and Maybank is starting to become a boring stock.. hmm..

Yup richboy.. me believe Maybank's price should've been much higher than currently. Not sure why it has been pushed down quite severely.. but of course for obvious reasons laa. Not that its goin' to dwindle down anytime soon, right?

Maybank normally has been well supported by EPF but unfortunately EPF has not been in a good mood lately and lost its strength to slice thru resistances as before (not sure why even considering this is Maybank.. the pride bank of Malaysia). Also.. C17 is expiring in a month.. so (hint) RHB will do its best with whatever means to curb any advances toward 8.2 to ensure its C17 value is toilet paper. Just my 2 cents laa..

For me.. my trades on other counters all I've switched to Maybank. I dont use contra whatsoever so I can hold indefinitely. And if Brexit "tak jadi".. wow !!!

Do NOT.. I repeat.. do NOT buy any of its warrants. You'll lose all your money. Warrants are based on confidence and right now its level is worth zero or negative. Forget this counter.. and the whole bourse at this moment !!!

What can I say.. pity to the holders of Maybank shares and its warrants.. including meself. Really surprised the gov't can allow its price to be pushed down tis low. My confident level on this counter is now = zero. Condolence to the fallen comrades too..

PS: Me also wondering how TA MIDF MacQuarie HLG Alliance can give TPs with an average about 9? Hmm..

Me opine Maybank has the ability to go down very fast e.g. down to 8.18 in 17/08/15 and went up to 9.15 after 2 weeks later. Who knows the history may repeat itself. However, currently Maybank does not look that good.. due to the heavy sell-offs for 2 str8 months already.. hmm..

Agreed.. its not a question of ensuring.. but its necessary. The market makers know tis.. and if possible.. they want to influence the whole bourse..

Bought 1k Drbhcom at 88 sen and sold at 93.5 sen last week.. happy. Me decided to keep holding to Maybank. And today Drbhcom flew to 1.30 (+17 sen).. really heart pain.. and Maybank ended swimming.. so sad.. :(
