Don't be too obsessed with the PP. All it means is that 144M shares have been privately placed in the hands of genuine investors, banks and high net worth individuals who are in a different league and play a different game. They invest in companies, not the stockmarket. People shout about the PP mainly for 2 reasons, to scare people into selling or they're just plain ignorant!

Basically looking at a company with hardly any fundamentals, banging on promises yet to be fulfilled and having a massive selldown. At the back of your mind, the risk of losing everything, how not to sell? Where are all those professional marketeers who were talking up the company so much earlier on? Losing money is not my issue but getting caught in this massive sting is! i pity the poor uncles and aunties who will have to go hungry because of this! Karma has a way of getting even BTW!

Isn't there a moratorium on the PP, a fixed time duration where the shares cannot be traded? I thought I read it somewhere.

After the last PP listing on the 17th Oct as someone here said, share price dipped 12% over a period of 5 days commencing the day before listing. Notice that during the last 3 days the share price didn't climb drastically at all when Brent was at 70 USD, in fact it declined from a high of 1.17 and down to a low of 1.05 today, a dip of about 8%. Hopefully, investors are more savvy and support holds at 1.07 before it continues its uptrend.However, am expecting a dip and getting some bullets ready just in case.

i think if you scroll back, someone explained it pretty well. Nothing to get alarmed about! Might be a slight dip or blip due to ignorant traders.

EPF doesn't need to announce as they ceased being a substantial shareholder some weeks back but they still have a lot to move prices. Lets assume they're trading under the radar. Monitor the market depth closely and a clearer picture comes into view.

Conclusion: stronger RM or weaker USD, better profit as gathered from previous FY reports. Company fundamentals have not changed so can expect a continuation of uptrend soon. BBs not gonna stand aside for too long cos the accumulators will need to make some money soon. Need money for war chest ma!

Isn't Dyson factory in JB although its a UK Company? So SKP supplies parts to a local based factory, shouldn't invoices be denominated in RM?

PE for this industry in upper teens and twenties. KWAP (substantial shareholder) and EPF (major but no more substantial shareholder) just stand aside watching Dato dump his shares to who?

Based on last Qtr EPS ( 2.86 cts X 4) and forward PE 25 calculated for the industry, we're looking at a mid term TP of 2.86. Could be very much higher depending on next QR.Stand to be corrected thogh.
