Shorties may be nasty but what is 2-4 millions shares shorted when the total volume traded per day is between 55-300 millions the past 2 weeks? Shorties might want to take advantage of the turmoils in political arena. It is not a sure win for them to try and throw down if price is on uptrend. Even if price holding steady, they lose.

To us, bring it on....2-3 millions shares against tens and hundred millions means nothing and their win may not be much. They need to pay to borrow shares and also buy back if it goes up...more push for us.

On PING acquisition, NOT a single sen was paid from Dnex banks' account. Dnex acquired 30% of PING back in 2016 for only USD10 million. This time around for the additional 60% of PING for USD78 million, of which USD37.05 shares swapped at 192,368,414 shares of Dnex valued at RM0.801c. The balance of Cash USD40.95 was a soft loan with unconditional drawdown and without interest from PING's account (left to right pockets)

What and where can you find such a beautiful deal?

When the deal was signed Oil price was around USD40 and has moved up to above USD70 (today at USD71)

3 weeks ago, our friend, Mr Gerard Lam did a price evaluation (here at forum) on Earnings from PING, but his PE at 50 which we can safely and at conservative levels, say, even at PE of 25 and from PING ALONE, Dnex is fairly priced at RM1.20 (RM2.38 with his PE of 50)

We are here for the long term and many may be surprised with their QR in due course.

Right, Mr Acadi....Dnex with Malaysia's National Treasure and No 16th World semicond 200mm Wafer plant is a goreng stock? Are they aware this is just the beginning since Silterra was introduced into Dnex a week ago?

Fox's worldwide Revenue pulled in USD178 Billions in 2019, making this RM108 million (120 million shares @ 90c) is just a movie ticket to a seat on Dnex BOD. Their President Terry officially donated USD350 million (RM1.45 Billions) in worth of Pfizer as Corporate Social Responsibility to their country, Taiwan.

They signed a JV for EV manufacturing in Thailand just 3 months ago.

Fox needs to have strong chips supply chain, especially the 200mm for the EV which is in shortage worldwide.

And you think they are "stuck" at 90c?

In Europe, not only the EVs are transforming for Public transportation, there's the eVTOL (electric vehicle takeoff and landing)

With effect from tomorrow, 3rd Aug, the total additional listed of converted Warrants is at 605,409,106 shares out of the 695,396,809 issued, giving a balance outstanding of 89,987,703 unlisted Warrants. These could be incoming within the next 10 days.

Technically and logically, Dnex price should be above 85c right now but for the FDI outflow and political situation. Just before Parliament sitting, the price was touching 78c, with 80c seen imminent. That spike was just before the Press announcement on the completion of Silterra acquisition. That was a wasted push.

But as long term investors, we are holding free shares and was prepared to take another block if it had fallen below 69c today.

@Jonas,.. breaking away from being a penny stock is not just a dream but a matter of time. The time won't be far away and the exercises completed with great successes. Businesses are firing on all cylinders and those people whom are expecting prices to be back to 30c, 40c, 50c have all vanished into thin air, with mouth stuck with their shoes.

Tan Sri Dato Syed Zainal is one of the more successful entrepreneur with a detailed eye on all of Dnex's commitments and inspiration, projecting to move forward as envisioned. He has mentioned in March-April, 2021 his concern for shareholders not to be financially sapped with more RI or Warrants, and more aligned to PP for funds raising. Yet some people wishing for more warrants are beyond prudence and rational.

Dnex still hold approved 800 million PP at beck and call and for additional working capital and expansion if necessary. At this early period of the takeover, Silterra may require a complete flip-over for the turnaround to be expedited and achieve its target. Armed together with 40% shareholdings from chinese partner in Dnex Semiconductor Sdn Bhd, holder of Silterra' JV, the management may not exercise great spending or buying spree in the RM500 million to Billions for new nano capacities.

People (not you Jonas) can be so naive, sometimes, and without much foresight or visions, even into the near future.

How do you make someone without half a brain understand the meaning of trading in business? Does it matter if the 14M is supplied and delivered in one or several batches to end buyer, if the terms and price are agreed and accepted upon? The meaning of getting rid and pushing out the whole 14M in one lot means to sell the whole quantity as one.
