If Sapura OMV is using the same rate of the Production capacity that they are experiencing now. A Quarter the max net will be around rm50mil to rm80mil. It means 1 year it will be around rm200mil to rm320mil net. It will take approximately 3years to realise the the Rm4bill. This is how I think they come about the derivation of the Sapura OMV market price of USD2.4billion. ( for 3years disposal).
Again I am not expert on this, I am just posting what I understood. If anyone has different assumptions , perhaps can provide share you workout.

Let's say break down as below
1. Profit margin 35%
2. Sapuras ownership = 15% (50% of Omv)
3. Selling price = 72dollar / barrel
4. Barrel 250million

Net profit = 250 x 72 x 0.15 x 0.35
Approximately 1billion

How long it takes for the total production, need to check.

No, I don't think PNB or ASN sold, it just doesn't make sense for them to sell now as they are the one driving it down. The morning star data, is full of flaws and most of it is wrong, this includes the selling and buying datas from the institutional. The bloomberg data is upto date.

I disagree when you say PNB is no good. See how Velesto turn from 8cent to 26cent. Maybank and many, just go check. Also disagree when you say the share will turn 0after restructuring, it can reduce the capital. This is the downside. However how it will change will depends on how Anuar tail and his team close the deal. As for the restructuring scheme proposed, I don't see any dilution to the capital. Just consolidation which will slow down high low percentage lost and gain. That Is one reason I reduce my stake here.

I doubt the morning star information is correct. The ownership also so wrong already. Both of the ownership for Velesto and Sapura also don't have the ASN or PNB as major shareholder. On top of that the derivation of remaining share was after the disposed amount. Anyway let me check further.

I have place abit at Sapura. I can sell anytimeas my holding cost is rather low. However if i sell i will want to understand clearly the actual status.
If you notice carefully. PNB is the one driving the share price all the way down. E.g, they could post the impairment later and cut lost straight. Why now ? Is just doesn't make sense for them to sell now.

Morning star did not have PNB as its top 20 share holder. I can only see ASN and it is only 0.18%.
