Haha..indeed many wayang..and tried to magnified trivial issue..many people ignored the fact that greatec experienced a drop in profit margin from 49% to 28.1% in its recent Q2 too despite huge increase in revenue..and JF tech for 2 consecutive quarters lower profit margin with increased revenue...and they are still trading at hefty valuation..with the recent Q2 result, QES is trading at a trailing 47 times P/E, possibly the lowest valuation amongst the league with lots of room for re-rating..But to each his own, wayang can continue wayang, holders can continue to hold..due diligence prevail..cheers..

Anyway, back to the result, still a decent overall yoy revenue and earnings growth..I would give the benefit of doubt that its manufacturing segment is largely impacted by most of the factory shut down..and see its next q result..one could hardly find a Company doing so much profitable, net cash, prudent cash flow management, and having the vision to invest heavily in CAPEX for its anticipated orders which would largely turn into cash profits as and when due..Buy or sell is up to any of you, as own money, own target..As always, due diligence prevails..cheers..

@ezmoney yoy up..qoq a drag by manufacturing, not sure what’s the reason behind it..however, if the Company can sustain itself with this earnings or even more for the last 2q, the full year will be an even more record year..if go by this full year and a better forward projection, it certainly can support its price at this level and perhaps higher..my take is breaching RM1 is a matter of time, however need to see the another quarter, and also where the industry PE at that point of time..company still making good profit and strong balance sheet, and it’s in the right industry..more than sufficient to justify a hold for me..as always, due diligence prevail..cheers..

It has been a pretty good week for semicon/IT related stock..especially for QES with bright outlook and strong FA..As I mentioned last week, there is no need for mid to long-term astute holders to be afraid, that's not how the mid-long holders behave, anyway..

Armanhashim, today is Saturday and relaxing so I would like to reply you. Looking at all your previous comment, it seems that you don’t really have ill intention but to ‘courteously’ caution people.. however, since your post from May 2021, or even earlier, the price of QES has sincere soared a 35% to more than 60% from the time of your comment.

If the investors has bought at that time, they would have easily in a comfortable position by now with a big margin of safety, whether a steep correction is forthcoming. You maybe right to certain extent, however it is important to look at your ownself whether you are that accurate to your comments. As the saying goes, if you call for a market crash a 1000 times, surely there will be one time where you are accurate. The answer is when? Do you even have an idea about that? You should only speak confidently if you really have something solid in your hand.

So for QES, many of us here are astute long term holders where we have the know-how to our investment decisions. Perhaps, my advise to you is read more, understand more, and start having a long term approach or vision to the market.

In fact, the most seasoned strong hands medium to long-term investors in the box realize that pullbacks and corrections are also part of the investment scene.

It is the weak hands' retail investors or short term players who are continually being swayed by doom and gloom naysayers/shortists who do not look at the big picture that short term corrections are always healthy for its next rally on the strength of their next coming quarter earning results which would probably be stellar and above market expectations.

These seasoned strong iron hands investors who don't lose sight of the strong medium to longer-term fundamentals of QES will continue to light the way for those who have continually fallen off the beaten path.
