Many people do not understand. COVID, will not disappear once and for all for the coming years. Many countries are facing difficulties in curbing the infection rate. And apparently vaccine does not stop the spread too after vaccine rolled out for 6 months. People, face the reality. COVID will not go away as much as I want it to be diminished. If COVID will not go away in the near future and coming years, how will interstate travel be allowed? And how can the airlines and whatever industries rely on tourists and people to survive? Think about it. What are the industries that are booming during the COVID time and those that are the ones you should invest in. Dont flame me. I stated facts. Cheers.

Market to me is 2 years ahead, bro..6 months could be an old way of perceiving market..So any movement now is a reflection of whats coming 2 years ahead..that said, everyone should invest at their own risk..cheers..

TianChoi1 stock market is always 6 months ahead. If the MCO is lifted, the current price wouldn't be around 0.90.. As an investor you have to decide whether MCO is coming or otherwise. All want to get in at cheaper price?
Since pandemic AA have been innovating new ways to generate revenue.
We all know this is critical time as all market sentiment towards this ticker is uncertain.
I am a high risk/high reward type of person.
Regardless of what is happening NOW, we all know the future is bright.
If you got balls, ride it out. If not don't invest. Simple.

I like these facts..another fact..Global cases surge to almost all time high again..and possibly surpass that high in January very soon..time the market well and you can roll your gain many time..but of course, if some big players chip in again, it may soar again..trade at your own risk..cheers..

AllYouCanBuy Diversified business is very good. But never forgets the current situation. Those new businesses don't generate income until 2022 or 2023. The main concern, again, is no interstate travel for the next 2 to 3 months.

This will look extremely bad on the Q1 Q2 2021.
I love Airasia. But now is not a sensible price to buy. Too risky.

weeks back..i reckoned to sell around 1.15 to 1.2 range..i got flamed..it seems my selling was done well..Even its a core holding, you can do it multiple time by timing the market well, of course, this comes with experience..now you can pick it back lower than your initial cost..age is not an excuse..some people in their 50s led a miserable life..some people in their 20s or 30s earned a truckload..cheers..

it can be ~1.7 to you. it can be 1.1 to 1.2 to me..Its the experience and judgement to gauge the definition of pre-covid level. to me, its the price around late jan last year. so, your pre-covid level is 1.7. that is alright. cheers.

No. until the boss or the company conducts purchase/buyback of more than 1m shares per transaction, I will avoid. Purchase of hundred thousands of shares is not convincing. Definitely.

As said much earlier, the counter has break the support at 0.90, on a technical perspective of wc down to 0.70 range..if result strong still can support however its a double attack to the company now..hope the management take proactive and swift action..

Well done..Final QR affected by continued pandamic..However profit and EPS maintained despite the drop in revenue due to effective cost measurement. DPS also maintained. Hopefully pandemic will ease soon and we shall see opensys soar again..

In market, only profits justify. And more and more profits. Pray FPG will deliver those one QR 10m net profit result and you will see this at above 2. For now it just drifting downwards. I will look at this again if FPG deliver good result next QR and monitor again. I will now give it a miss. Two QR missed while others are delivering spectacular results is not a joke.

Price trend suggest going to 0.7 level..based on a technical perspective on a wave C down..if 0.9 supported this technical view is voided..pray for FPG holders..

Good point..but this is a year for industrial product to perform.. look at QES.. indeed, FPG is an underperformer.. the management should rethink their strategy and take proactive action.. don’t be satisfied by the fact that the company still making profit.. if they don’t react fast, I can see that their profit going to reduce bit by bit and start turning into loss..

In stock market, timing is also very important.. I did incur a small loss of thousands on this FPG as I cannot stand the poor performance..good thing is my stake in FPG among my portfolio is not big, few thousands loss considered small loss and I easily overcome that with huge gain in other counters.. Being a value investor, there are much more to consider other than fundamental analysis.. don’t worry syndicate have no time to come spread nonsense, and they can only affect traders/punters.. I will pray for FPG holders that FPG will deliver good results for coming QR..in stock market, follow no one, only yourself.. cheers..

In my list of semi-con/Tech stock, rarely I seen them delivering lesser profit for the same period of assessment, except FPG. Most or almost all of them delivering better and better profit..there are a numbers of stock, you name it you have it..COVID is not really a good excuse, many are still making a truckload..Directors too disposed off the shares ahead of result..make your bet..

@vespa that’s what I thought too..when a company resort to commentary such as cost cutting rather than growing revenue, that simply implied the company is out of resources and networking to grow its revenue and to expand its business, in other words, stagnant, or worse, depleting..Although I still don’t understand what has caused them decrease in revenue for two QR, it comes to them that they have a lot more to do rather than business optimization..cheers..

Market is forward looking..share price is reflective of that too..if the market knew the co. could not perform, the pice will drift towards that direction too..it is up to each one to decide their bet to see if the co. can perform..for me, i think the company really do a big miss, market has high expectations in them..I do think that the price is now overvalued..cheers..

@ cooljay yes that’s what I meant..when others are not making and you too, it is normal, comparatively..however if others are making a bundle and yet this company consecutively delivering lower revenue and profit, something is not right..it can be management slow to react, not able to find new revenue source, slow to visualize and many more..I hope they keep up and show the work..positive guidance from them on future prospects is solely not enough..talk is cheap..number speaks..cheers..

I really think something is wrong with the management.. despite strong balance sheet, they are slow to respond to expected drop in revenue and slow enough to figure out solution to keep that revenue in..its all profit talk, making profit from core business is crucial, decrease in both revenue and profit for consecutive two quarters is not really a good sign, although still making profit..if they announce decrease in profit for another coming quarter, I think it is almost firm that the management run out of clue to catch up with this booming cycle and many opportunity will be missed..is not totally about patience..many other factors too..

When other semi cons are making and yet this disappoint for consecutive two qr..something is wrong..despite strong balance sheet, it may reflect the management weak ability to deliver..in fact, very wrong, management need to think..i don’t think COVID is a good excuse..others are delivering..management should have figured out earlier as early as in March last year.. plenty of counters to make.. make your choices..cheers..
