Looking at the surge in AA price today I think TP 3.00 after Q4 results on 23Feb is not very far stretched.
As I said b4 if AA hits $3.00 C34 is valued at $0.334.
That is the winning post .

*batu88 ,I share your view C34 is of course better with extra 12 days to go b4 expiry with same conversion price and ratio .But I think market will adjust itself and C34 will be the same if not higher very soon.

The beauty of investing in C34
Eg you invest 27k in 10k shares of AA
and same amount of 27k you can buy 125580 shares of C34 at 0.215 today's closing price.
If AA hits 3.00 b4 28Feb you will profit $3k
but in C34 you will profit $14.818k
( 0.333 - 0.215 x 125580 = 14818.44)
And you can adjust the price and profit accordingly based on AA share .
But caution: If AA hit $ 2.00 and below ..all C34 investment amount kaput.
For your info only .

Based on closing price of $2.70 then C34 should be actually valued / at conversion price at $0.233 .
Conversion price (2.70 -2.00conversion price ÷3 conversion ratio = $0.233 )
So the closing price of 0.215 for C34 is grossly undervalued and at a discount .
So tomorrow C34 will need to adjust and fly.

And collect a much bigger angpow in C34 or otherwise a much smaller angpow in AA given the same proportional capital outlay .

In a nutshell whether 98% of 2.80 or 99% it's inmaterial..important thing is the AA price must move up above conversion price b4 expiry date .It could be $2.40 or $2.80 or even $3.00 .
So look at the bigger picture..
Don't be too calculative on the admin charges.
Let's hope it will shoot up beyond today closing at $2.65.

batu88* looking at the price movement I might take a betting to wait for expiry date for automatic conversion..the payment price could be higher than the last day of trading .
It usually happens when the mother share is unstoppable.
The Issuers simply cannot suppress the price movements with the volume and buying momentum of AA - the mother share.
Let's see after the final price payment!

If upon expiry date the mother share is$ 2.80 on average 5 days preceding then the exercise price is $2.00 ,thenC34 should be calculated $2.80 -2.00 = 80 sen since conversion rate is 3 to 1 the each C34 should be 80sen ÷3 = 26.6sen .The C34 issuer will pay you each C34 warrants 26.6sen.
Very simple.
I have gone thru many AA cw from C21 until C34 some of which I left it until expiry and paid more after expiry.
Just to share my knowledge and experience with those having doubts on this issue.

Just stay out the turbulence and see the 3Q Financial results next Tuesday 22Nov after trading hours.

I am of the that 3Q results will be very different from 2Q in the sense that in the pre 2Q results, AAX shoot up b4 results released and after that it dives due to PAT of RM 1mil .

For the 3Q results,the likely scenario is that AAX will skyrocket only after 3Q results released.

This is primarily due to seasonal factor in the travel industry -the 35% increase in pax no in 3Q will translate into PAT of no less than RM100mil .The EPS for the 4 rolling quarters will be about 14sen .PE of 6 will justify the TP 84sen.

D-day is 23 November 16.

Remember TECGUAN 7439 after QR results released on 28Sep16 it's share price hit limit up twice from $1.09 to $1.84 After 2 months its share price today is at 2.40 with PE 9.7

What I am saying is QR release could be a strong catalyst for rerating the stock price.

@gen2 -The crude oil price movement of course determines the refined oil price for aviation fuel price -Jet A1 and other kerosene and petrol prices 92 95 97 etc.
In fact Jet A1 is more like kerosene used in aviation from what I understand.
Currently the Jet fuel prices is USD 54 a 8% drop from last week .Refer IATA jet fuel prices movement.Google it.

The AAX/AA both in fact are the big beneficiaries of the big drop in oil price now around USD 43 -45 in the long run especially AAX as it constitutes 30% of the operating costs.This can easily offset the RM currency fluctuations and will likely to stabilise soon.

AAX 3Q16 financial results out on 22Nov and AA 3Q16 financial results out on 24Nov next week.
