Just my opinion: The real play is to slowly collect our tickets at fire sale prices. This same play occurred in a similar EV battery counter a year half back. Hold and if you have spare cash, this is like a bonanza to be able to buy so cheap. Don’t play contra as we do not know when the market mover will make their play.
Then why the negativity? People who are here are investors who believe that YBS is expanding in the right direction. I am not saying that YBS will suddenly be a jackpot counter but if they implement their plans with Enovix, eventually this will grow their topline, bottomline and hence their share price. You are welcome to your negative comments if it is based on solid commentary, not hot air speculating the downward spiral of the share price.

IPO price back in 2017 was 13 sen. Matang's productivity is one of the best amongst plantations. If production remains constant and price has more than doubled, what do you think the profit will be? I believe price will eventually recover past IPO price when news is out with their Q2 and Q3 results. Wait and see. Dr Y Raj, I believe your observation is spot on.
Really don't understand what is going on with this counter. Do rights issue, it is over subscribed and then share price jatuh. Adui. Hey, market maker, you listening...push the share price up lah. Like this, people will cabut from this counter and next time around, no way to find retail support.
Good morning everyone. For @ Zack990111, the company no longer has any timber related business. It was sold off in 2017 based on the Annual Report for 2019. The company is now focused on property management and development. Lets hope that the price shoots soon for CNY angpow.

For @ Diogo_Jota, thanks for your thoughts. As @ Wakarimas said, new ownership bought in at 20 sen and over, I am certain that they will use the rights issue to push the price upwards. If not now, then possibly nearer CNY. Nearly all counters that issued rights subsequently witnessed huge price movement. I looked at Leweko's rights prospectus last night to understand the reason for the rights and it is mainly to fund completion of their two projects and increase land bank. So, lets see what happens shortly.
