NTA of mphbcap is so off, the hidden value of it land banks is not revaluate at all

To contrarian..scgm is totally a different case,it already gave you back most of the capital back, there's no way it gonna go to above 4.40, after you received the payback , the price probably will stay at about 0.70

Don't you wanna buy more if the share price is 1.12 and expect an annual dividend of 0.05 since it's doesn't need bnm approval and is cash rich.
After it gave you back the 0.45, you use the money to buy more at 1.12, but it will be very snck if boss suddenly say company got no money to pay dividends.

I do think all IB is so corrupt, never clean though

（吉隆坡6日讯）国行批准卖马化保险49%股权的消息，激励马化资本（MPHBCAP，5237，主板金融股）股价今日一度涨5.65%。

马化资本在本年初，接到潜在买家主动献议，与马化保险结为策略联盟，而国行也批准马化资本提供购股选择权予对方。

今年8月，马化资本正式向国行提出脱售马化保险的申请，并于昨日获国行回函批准脱售。

券商看法正面

消息传出后，马化资本股价闻风上扬，上午一度上扬13仙或5.7%，至2.43令吉。

今日闭市时，该股收涨8仙或3.48%，一度攀抵全日最高价2.43令吉，最终以2.38令吉挂收，全日共有109万400股易手。

大华继显研究分析员就国行批准脱售马化保险一事，给予正面看法。

“除了双方可达到协同效应，所获资金也可加快马化资产的房产发展业务，以及资本管理业务。”

他料公司即将宣布成交价，并估计总值或相等于账面价值2.4至2.5倍，因为市场缺乏潜在普险卖家。

他也维持该股买入评级，以及2.8令吉目标价。【南洋网财经】

馬化資本（MPHBCAP，5237，主要板金融）與合作夥伴洽售保險業務部份股權，國家銀行已批准並給于買方行使權（call option），此新發展展獲看好，一旦成事可提高估值。

該公司有5年時間至2018年，削減公司多元化保險業務持股比例至50%以下，否則將抵觸國行的金融控股公司條例。

我們早在1月時已指出，該公司至少要減持股權至49%，這樣才能符合50%以下的規定。

無論如何，我們認為國行捎來的是佳音，一來是馬化資本有能力可減持股權；二來是上述股權減持，以股價淨值比（P/BV）2.2倍相比我們分類加總估值法（SOP）1.6倍的計算，將有助提高馬化資本的分類加總估值法23仙至2.65令吉。

此外，儘管馬化資本2013財年終期股息遭取消，但該公司依然是現金豐厚，尤其是最近以1億8000萬令吉脫售浮羅山背（Balik Pulau）的地庫。

The 286m dividend is the reduction of share capital.
This 286m was part of the share premium of 296,091,000 before they added it added up with the 715m share capital.
So it literally mean the company give us nothing at all because if they want to, they actually can give out all the share premium of 296,091,000 as bonus share to us, and it doesn't even need approval from bnm at all if I'm not wrong.

After the disposal,we know it revenue and earnings gonna be bad, but since it's a cash rich company, dividend shouldn't be a problem, just how much we don't know.
And we all know they don't have the intension or ability to improve, expanding the business or find any new business to venture in or sell the land banks.
So there's a possibility that it might be privatize like mwe in the future.

I don't think this is necessary, they probably gonna detain the money until after the disposal if you compare it to the scgm announcement.

All we need is egm ASAP,so affin can provide the additional information to bnm or MoF to get the approval,I saw this in affin announcement,it just need some additional information to get the approval.....
