hollandking, u are not businessman, u can only be an accountant forever.. if u calculate the operating cost by actual fuel price, the profit sure better than last Q, becoz they hedge fuel price at $65, that means higher that actual fuel price, there is a big sum of loss, but next year sure they will hedge at lower price, no one can predict the oil price, no one!!! so they are doing wise.desicion, and becoz they are doing business using USD the most, so they are clever to play some forex, for me, forex is also a part of business, becoz i hav to make sure i earn money.. so forex gain that means their business grow.. if u dont want to calculate all these figures, lets be fare, dont use USD to cal the cost, use MYR, and i am pretry sure AAX is a big gain company!!

lets make a simple example why forex is part of business, if u are selling paper imported using USD, and u know MYR now is getting weaker, what will u do , in order to gain not loss, u will keep more USD in order to buy more paper and then sell in malaysia to earn more! am i correct, and this is not forex gain loh! this is business gain, is a wise decision by management..
