Inari Amertron Bhd's pre-tax profit rose 117.2 per cent to RM22.1 million for the first quarter ended Sept 30, 2013, from RM10.2 million in the same period a year ago.

Revenue surged 250.1 per cent year-on-year, to reach a record of RM191.3 million, from RM54.6 million previously, due to contribution from the newly-acquired Amertron Inc (Global) Ltd, the company said in a statement today.

The increase in earnings was primarily attributable to the larger revenue base, in addition to a stronger US dollar against the ringgit, during the period under review.

The company has announced a first interim dividend of 1.1 sen and special dividend of 0.4 sen per share, in respect of 2014 financial year, payable on Jan 16, 2014, to shareholders registered on Dec 20, 2013.

gweilo, you were spelled out with the good points. I rather hope the share price up instead of dividend... How much do you think the maximum dividend can pay out for every year? Share price up 20% can cover everything already... Since beginning of this year until now, how many % of the price been increased? Can cover dividend?

Chiam, I just bought in some with my extra money yesterday at 0.93. This is for long terms investment when I saw the press statement yesterday early in the morning... I don't expect the harvesting season so soon for Insas but I believe to meet my TP at 1.5 shouldn't be an issue by next year.... 50% return should be fine for me in within 1 year... Look at the trend Insas group tried to push their all listed companies market value to the top.... HoHup is another example although Insas just hold a little bit share compared to Inari... For me Insas still under value... Let see the shows begin after 9am today...
