Sycal Ventures Berhad (SYCAL)
FY14 EPS jumped 37% to 7.45 sen as net profit increased 40% YoY to RM23.8m. If we look at 4Q14 alone, EPS also increased 21% to 2.89 sen. Key driver behind the good earnings growth for both FY14 and 4Q14 is the Property division which saw its PBT +114% YoY to RM12.2m. Property division is likely to have benefited from better property prices in Kuala Lumpur and Perak. Construction division PBT also jumped 24% to RM13.2m due to increased billing of contracts at Taiping and Ipoh and increased revenue from the ready-mix concrete operation.
Net debt position of 0.21x. As of 4nd FY14, SYCAL net cash is RM4.6m. This is based on its total cash of RM8.75m, short term loan RM4.3m, long term debt RM48.0m and equity of RM211.5m. Comparitively, many other construction company has high net gearing exceeding 50%.
Trading at only 40.0 sen or 40% below Book Value of 67.0 sen. This could mean the stock is extremely undervalued as its earnings visibility is good at 3 years, relatively healthy balance sheet and high earnings growth in FY14 at 37% YoY.
Theoretical Target Price of 68.5 sen based on 9x FY15 Fwd. PE. The 9x PE is in line with mid cap construction valuation. FY15E EPS should reach 7.61 sen assuming 5% earnings growth to FY14E EPS of 7.45 sen.
Currently valued at only 5.4x PE and this is a significant mismatch between fundamental and its share price. Note that SYCAL still has outstanding order book of RM520m providing 1.3 years visibility. The Company also intends to launch property development projects in Taiping, Segari and Ipoh. With all these in, the market has significantly undervalued this HIDDEN GEM!

Icon8888, it is my responsible to share this information to the investor.
When we invest in a company, we should always look at the ethics of the management, and the reputation of the company.
According to source, that project should be a gated and guarded residential area.
In the brouchure, it did mentioned gate, guardhouse, 24hour security and so on.
But after S&P has been signed for 29 months (5 months delay), developer inform buyer that the house is ready, and key can be collected anytime.
When those owner visit to their new house, then they realised that the housing area has no gate, no guardhouse, and only 1 old Indian security guy sitting at the main entrance.
The worst is the house don't even have water connection (Syabas deposit was paid 6 months ago), the retention wall infront of the house has collapse, the road is not even, a lot of construction rubbish throw beside the housing area, the house wall is cracked, the roof is leaking (from 1st floor to ground floor), the tiles is broken...etc.
Pandamaran is a traditional chinese village, all the local buyer there is planning to stay, not for investment.
And this is only the 1st project Melati had in Pandamaran, Melati have few more pieces of land waiting for development in future.
If the 1st project get such a bad reputation, then how Melati going to sell its future project.

I'm from Klang, and I know that recently Melati Ehsan is facing a lot of complaint from the resident in Klang. Melati has developed a project at Pandamaran Klang, and the project quality is super bad and delay for more than 5 months. Out of the 250 unit house, only 50 +/- house owner collect the key. The balance of 200 house owner refuse to collect the key. Now all the house owner is looking for DAP YB to help them to sue the developer Melati Ehsan.

I read the annual report, I saw each warrant holder have the same voting right.
Does it mean warrant holder can attend AGM as well?
2nd, I realised that the Top 30 Warrant Holder is not updated, because the number of shares hold is exactly same as previous year. And most importantly, my boss name is not in the Top 30 list, my boss name should be inside the list (as he hold more than 1 million)

GST will seriously hurt the Toto Business.
Option 1:-
1) Toto charges ^% GST to customer.
If toto do so, then I can guarantee their business will at least drop 30%.
Option 2:-
1) Toto absorbed the 6% GST.
Then profit margin will be drop by 6%.
I am not sure whether you guys has ever buy those illegal 4D, their benefit is much much better than those legal 4d (Magnum or Toto).
Example:-
Illegal A offer 15% discount. That means, I buy RM100, they will discount 15%, so I only pay RM85.
Illegal B offer 10% increase in prize. That means, if I kena the prize, they will pay me extra 10%-15%% above the market prize.
So you imagine, if you are really a punter, will you continue to buy legal 4D, or you will switch to this type of illegal 4D.
