If UBS acquire YTL on its own, then I am sure they won't dispose it.
But now problem is UBS is the white knight that force to acquired Credit Suisse, so I think high chances they will liquidate those old investment from Credit Suisse.

From my point of view, having UBS as shareholder is not a good news.
UBS take over Credit Suisse, and high chances UBS will liquidate all these assets that inheritage from Credit Suisse.

YTL share go went up so much since 31 Dec 2023, so when a fund manager choose to liquidate which asset, normally will choose that that already showing paper gain, instead of those that showing paper loss, coz once you dispose, the loss / gain will become realised.

The long weekend has been past, and there is still no news about why EPMB drop.
Therefore, can I conclude that the last two days drop was merely some individual shareholder personal issue :-
i) Shareholder facing force celling
ii) Warehouse operator / syndicate change hand

If this is the case, then high chances that next week will be back to 70-80sen.

Why this Cicile keep on mentioned about the plane, and don't want mentioned any single word on her venture into contact lens business? At least tell public how much she has made / loss for the past few years. Transparent mah.

Based on my experience, sometime buying "plane" maybe due to diplomatic.

For example, you want US government to import your product, so you need to give back something. So you need to buy the plane / machine / anything from US to make the deal with the US government. Same practice apply to Europe or China.

I mean this is very common, when your company has reach certain size, or the volume is really big, this kind of diplomatic deal is very common.

I think Calvin RM2k is just refer to direct cost (i.e. Labour cost, Fertilizer cost).
This is the standard costing for Malaysian plantation estate.
Last time the average cost is RM1400-1600 only, now as the fertilizer cost and manpower cost increase, so now average is Rm2k++.

But this doesn't take into other cost, HQ operation cost (Director salary, Admin salary, Salesman salary...etc), replanting cost (you need at least 5 year to grow an oil palm), financing cost, legal cost, land leasing cost.....etc.

PPHB is a very good company.

With so many cash on hand, I believe the BOD also waiting for a good chance to acquire some business / property / asset.

Yup, Danco share price definately will go up follow its business revenue / profit.
FY2023 estimated EPS should not be less than 6 sen, and with PE 13-15, Danco share price minimum should be around 80sen - 90sen.
This is just based on its existing business organic growth, haven't take into account any M&A that may boost its profit.
Also, if there is any corporate exercise such as Bonus Issue, Bonus Warrant, then share price could go even higher.

When employer cost increase, employer will raise the product / service price, so all price increase (i.e. Food price, Kids tuition school fee, tuition fee, transport fee, car maintenance fee, house maintenance fee).
Then employee (consumer) will complain cost of living increase,.. Salary cannot covered cost of living...
Then Government step in again to increase minimum wages to RM2000.

When interest rate continue to hike, those company with huge borrowing will suffer.
While company with huge cash will be benefit.

High debt company:-
1) Paying high interest, so margin is shrink
2) Customer's purchase power will reduce, so buy lesser product.
3) Some customer start to delay payment, so company will tighten their credit policy.
4) When company tighten credit policy, company sales will drop, and some customer will be left.
5) When company sales drop and profit drop, company sales person commission also drop, so they will jump to competitor company.

High cash company :-
1) When interest hike, FD interest also hike, so company can earn higher Interest Income as they have huge cash pile in bank.
2) With the huge cash pile, they can offer credit term to customer that facing credit problem, so more customer will come to them.
3) While other competitor are tightening their credit, and you remain the same credit, you will become more attractive than other.
4) With huge cash, you can negotiate for lower price for your raw material, you can also increase product price by giving customer credit term.
5) All your competitor salesman will jump to your company as your company didn't tighten the credit, they can achieve higher sales if they work in your company.
