Moyola Precision Engineering, Castledawson, Northern Ireland, has received an order to machine metal components for an advanced winglet that GKN Aerospace is supplying for Bombardier’s Global 7000/8000 ultra-long-range business jet. This is GKN’s first direct contract with a company based in Northern Ireland.

Rob Soen, senior vice-president (supply-chain management) at GKN Aerospace, said: “We have been talking to Moyola and other companies in Northern Ireland for some months now, following an event organised by the ADS aerospace trade association and Invest Northern Ireland.

“Moyola has shown real commitment, vision and energy throughout the discussions leading to this initial contract placement, and we hope this relationship will grow over time. We are continuing our discussions with regional organisations such as Invest NI, as we explore other opportunities to increase UK-based supplier involvement in our work.”

Mark Semple, managing director of Moyola, said: “We are delighted to receive our first direct order from GKN Aerospace. Building business with this company forms a large part of our growth strategy. Some of the future opportunities with GKN Aerospace may require collaboration with other local like-minded companies; we are pleased with the support and advice from Invest NI in this endeavour.”

i do not believe hibiscus was informed on the Oman oil result !!
first well still in progress, more than 5 sampling taken and pressure testing at various depth all +ve! Monday will start sidetrack well for second reading. this is what i am pretty sure what is happening in Oman.
As for hibiscus, i dont know why people here link hibiscus to this drilling program,as far as i know no hibiscus personnel in this program!!
May be i am not a stock player, therefore not understand what you guys keep linking the drilling with hibiscus, that is why my colleague ask me to read this interesting forum.
Many Spore company are involves in this program but i am pretty sure no hibiscus name !!!

may be we are discussing on different wave length...
i am talking about the drilling program under taken by Masirah on site.
Anyway since you @ me........well,I can review that as far as the drilling (i dont know anything about hibiscus)part 80% posting here sound funny, great imagination to me,and whether commercially viable to develop into production wells later is up to Masirah (no company will abandon a well unless very unlucky get a "dry well". Even if a well with low hydrocarbon, they will keep it or sell to next player. Its all depend on your production cost,eg a well in Oman Shell found it commercially not viable, he will not abandon, instead will sell to player from India,Russia,China which still can reap big profit from it.

Chris Dyas !!???
I am not aware he join Hibiscus, when ?
i met him last year when he came to Lion city for bidding a brownfield project in India and he got the project awarded. i thought he should be project director in India.(His level should be MD or director level can not be a site personnel !)
good night n bye

http://unconventionalenergy.blogs.ihs.com/2013/09/10/oil-sands-bitumen-a-unique-case-for-rail-economics/

which talks about

Oil sands bitumen
....

and at the end it reads this:

*** IHS CERA oil price outlook is that Brent crude will average $92 per barrel between 2013 and 2020 (constant 2011 dollars). Meanwhile, over the same time period, we expect oil sands SAGD projects to require a $65-85 per barrel Brent price for continued investment. Hence, even if oil sands breakevens were to increase by $6 per barrel due to the use of rail, oil sands would continue to grow].

---

at the end it talks about Brent crude ..may average $92 per barrel ...and this stupid sklyte relates it to bitumin
....
lol

repeating his words now:

.think before you type lar..bash also need to use brain geh..LOL

Oil sands, tar sands or, more technically, bituminous sands, are a type of unconventional petroleum deposit.
The oil sands are loose sand or partially consolidated sandstone containing naturally occurring mixtures of sand, clay, and water, saturated with a dense and extremely viscous form of petroleum technically referred to as bitumen (or colloquially tar due to its similar appearance, odour and colour). Natural bitumen deposits are reported in many countries, but in particular are found in extremely large quantities in Canada.[1][2] Other large reserves are located in Kazakhstan and Russia. The estimated worldwide deposits of oil are more than 2 trillion barrels (320 billion cubic metres);

About two tons of oil sands are required to produce one barrel (roughly 1/8 of a ton) of oil. Originally, roughly 75% of the bitumen was recovered from the sand. However, recent enhancements to this method include Tailings Oil Recovery (TOR) units which recover oil from the tailings, Diluent Recovery Units to recover naptha from the froth, Inclined Plate Settlers (IPS) and disc centrifuges. These allow the extraction plants to recover well over 90% of the bitumen in the sand. After oil extraction, the spent sand and other materials are then returned to the mine, which is eventually reclaimed.
