Just for information on the coal, 1kgs of coal the heat capacity is 6.15kwh and the power plant can extract the energy for each kg of coal at 40% efficiency. Meaning each kg of coal can generate 2.46kwh of electrical energy. At current coal price of USD45/ton. The coal cost will be at USD 0.0183/kwh against the price of USD 0.08 /kwh. With the current coal price is only 22% of selling price.

It is mind boggling for any business the raw mat only cost 22% of selling price.

With the coal price dropping from USD75(FEB2019) to USD45(jan2020) A drop of 40%
No matter how you calculate the profit of Jaks after power station completion will be a mind boggling figure to digest

If you take 7708 operation hours in a year, this translate into every month the power station would stop for around 3.65 days/month. Almost stop every Sunday which I think very conservative and achievable.

Output/day for a 600MW is at 14.4 millions Kwh and at a price of USD0.05/Kwh. The output in term of USD is at USD720K/day or 2.8 millions ringgit/day.
When 2 turbines are operating, the figure is double.

Green energy like solar panel can never never replace coal or hydro power plant as the main country power supply like Vietnam . Solar panel can only act as a supplement to power distribution system. Even in Malaysia with the fantastic sun energy through out the year, on average we can only achieve 3.5 hours of useful energy a day on average (from 11:30am to 3pm) beside it is not cost effective with investment of RM3100 for 1KWpeak at RM2.43/kwh in comparison to jaks at RM1/kwh taking 7500 hr of annual operation hours.
