（吉隆坡26日讯）TMC生命科学（TMCLife， 0101，主板贸服股）准备把另一家医院纳入 旗下，这次是在柔佛发展蓬勃的马来西亚依斯 干达特区的医疗枢纽。

知情人士告诉《The Edge》财经周刊：“TMC 生命科学单一大股东———新加坡亿万富豪林 荣富，计划把1座拥有200个床位及正在兴建 的医疗枢纽，纳入该公司的管理，此举将显著 扩充该公司在国内的发展。”

他披露，目前尚不清楚TMC生命科学会否持有 部分股权。

上述医疗枢纽价值2亿新元（约4.9亿令吉）， 旨在提供便宜但优质医疗服务。

依斯干达特区的主要海滨地段面积为24.7英 亩，上述医疗枢纽是该发展计划的一部分。

传汤姆森负责管理

依斯干达特区发展项目，包括滨海城市与综合 建筑物，涵盖医院、公寓、娱乐场所及购物中 心，整个发展项目预计耗资10亿至20亿新元 （约24亿至49亿令吉）。

上述医院预料会在2015年竣工，将成为推动 医疗枢纽增长的催化剂。

目前，市场传言新加坡汤姆森医疗私人有限公 司的咨询与管理臂膀———汤姆森国际健康服 务，将负责管理上述医院。

林荣富在2010年私有化新加坡汤姆森医疗私 人有限公司。

除了林荣富（持股权32.59%）之外，TMC生 命科学其他大股东，包括我国企业大亨丹斯里 陈志远。

从去年5月起，陈志远通过成功机构 （BjCorp，3395，主板贸服股），收购TMC 生命科学的1587万股，或1.98%股权。

随后，他逐渐累积持股，目前他已持有TMC生 命科学的32.27%股权，成为该公司的第二大 股东。

The weekly newspaper also reported that TMC Life Sciences Bhd is poised to add another hospital worth S$200 million (RM495 million) into its stable within Johor’s
Iskandar Malaysia enclave.

According to The Edge which quoted industry executives ,TMC’s single-largest shareholder, Singapore billionaire Peter Lim may place under TMC a 200-bed hospital within Iskandar to expand TMC’s market reach.

TMC’s website indicates that the company already owns the 180-bed Tropicana Medical Centre in Kota Damansara, Selangor.
