Hi Huat123, it was 40 something, then now 50 something, soon it will be 60 something. Be patient , soon it will be RM 1 something. As long as Brent oil is good ( now 70 pb ) , og stocks will be good. The last 2 months , Sapura has contracts worth RM 5.7 B, the best so far since 2013.

This year 2018 Sapura has secured two new contracts totalled RM 5.7 B. Now Brent is 70.61 pb, more contracts are coming in.

The last time Brent oil hit 70pb was late 2014. Capex spendings was at its lowest in decades in year 2015 and 2016. With demand of oil coming up fast and capex at its lowest, the oil industry will be hit by supply problems very soon, hence og services will be needed even more urgently.

Trade war or not, oil is a necessity for every nation. Even more important whenever there is a geopolitical risk.

Hi jad88, the gas from B15 field SK 310 is sold directly to Petronas , which is better because Sapura need not have to worry about marketing. This was announced by Bursa dated 27.6.2016

Tmr is the start of petroyuan whereby China will trade oil using yuan. So there is competition with the US where oil is traded using USD. Lets hope this will be for the better.

From B15 SK 310 gas field , the production is 100 MMscfd

So far the gas production is from SK 310 and SK 408, and the buyer is Petronas. So there is a ready buyer for Sapura.

From the year 2014 till today, the biggest single contract obtained by Sapura is RM 4.8 b ie from Mubadala awarded on 21 March 2018.

Trade war or whatever issues, oil is important to any industries, just like food is to human. Every country need oil for development. Tax tariffs or not, oil is sellable to anybody. Now brent is at 70.45 pb, Sapura will make more profit.

Norwegian labor union is fighting for better work conditions for the oil industry. Deadline is 7th April. Or else there will be a major strike thus crippling the oil production in the largest western europe part.

This coming QR due anytime now, the profit will come in from this Brazil project

Canada's Cenovus Energy reduces oil production by 6% due to shipping problems. Hence, supply for oil dropped along with Venezuala supply too. Brent oil price will hit 70 pb soon

Hi guys , Brent oil rebounded , now at 69.44 pb. My research on oil tells me tremendous shortage of oil and LNG in England, China and India.

Brent oil is still above 68 pb, only went down a little bit. Global demand for oil and LNG is excellent and robust. India and China will buy more oil as they move away from coal which causes air pollution. Sapura Energy produces oil of high quality with very little sulphur content which called " light sweet brent oil " .The LNG in Block 310 B15 gas fields also of very high quality. Sapura will benefit from this maiden production for many years to come.

Many a times when Dow went down , our KLCI goes up. Lets hope today will be the same.

No worries derrtan, oil up 3% yesterday, today down 1% , still considered up 2%.

Just for the info, London does not have enough reserves of Natural Gas to heat up their homes, especially now they are facing extreme cold and strong winter wind.
