Such forced labour accusation is not as straight forward. Sometimes It involves looking at things at different perspective due to cultural difference. For example, children helping their parents in the family farms is quite normal in Asian country like Malaysia. However, this could be viewed as child labour from foreigner's eyes. Even some of the Malaysia's legal requirements on foreign workers may not in-line with the requirements of certain western countries.

It's not a good publicity for Malaysia's glove industry. People will only know gloves from Malaysia is bad. Regardless of Supermax, Harta etc. This may eventually give advantage to gloves manufactured from other countries.

Another bad news for the industry.

Just wait and see. I expect the price may drop further before and after dividend as investors didn't seem excited about the dividend even after announcement that day. I don't think dividend will be the factor for investors to buy. It may take some time before it can go further without new catalyst.

People buy stock like Carlsberg because of dividend. No point to buy if no dividend is given.

@bang_miskin, very good analogy. Just treat stock market as your partner. Choose wisely before make any move. Have to put in some resources if you think you have chosen the right one. Cannot expect your partner in good mood all the time. Just bare with it whenever mood swing happens. If really not as per your expectation and doesn't expect your partner will change in the future, just break-up and find another new partner : )

Most healthcare and industries that require to wear glove are already used to wear glove as part of their hygiene practice or work procedure. Most of them will still use glove even after Covid. Human is a very adaptive being. They will continue do things that they used to do. Demand for glove will never go back to the pre-covid level.

TA will affect price for short term. But long term FA will prevail

ASP of glove will fall. But not to the extend of what people think.

Obviously people are investing purely based on sentiment. Just imagine they have more than enough cash to buy Airasia Group now. With the huge cash position, they can easily diversify their business if they really foresee glove is no longer a profitable business. Yet they still expanding their glove factory.

Most investors are over shadowed by current sentiment without considering the quality of the company they are investing.

Hard to go up as overall market sentiment is bad. It just only take one fine day for it to breach 1.5.

You guys can refer to MSCI to make your due-diligence on company's ESG performance. Quite many of our listed companies are rated by them.

Nothing to say if CBP really bans Harta. But based on my research, Harta is not bad in ESG. They got AA rating in MSCI for ESG.

But what I have learned is investors/ traders are normally tend to over react. That's why so many stocks are oversold/ overbought. Just follow own judgement.

Wish and reality is two different thing. I also wish the price will go to rm5 to collect. But looking at the chart seems like a bit far fetch. Unless Harta performs worst than pre-covid in the upcoming qtr.

Issue on SCIB in one way is good for CMSB as less one competitor for upcoming major projects.

Shouldn't look purely at ASP. Don't forget the production volume will increase rapidly from the expansion plan too. Increase in production volume will contribute to the profit and counter the slide in ASP. Don't think the company will have such ambitious expansion plan if they foresee the glove is no longer profitable. They know more than anyone else.

Just look at how much Harta was traded even before Covid-19. How much more it can drop.

Profit much higher than pre-pandemic level but the price is lower than pre-pandemic. Just buy it up.
