12 hours per day , is already very high efficient as compared to MAS, 9 hours and current congestion in LCCT.
one interesing point from The Star, mentioned that Malindo is going to hire 600-1,200 local unemployed pilot, 12 aircrafts in first year, how many pilots is really needed? i guess everyone can easily figure out it...

Strategic wise is Lion Air shld focus more on Indonesia mkt instead of diverse the resource to matured market with population 30mil only, far less than Indonesia with 230mil

Think also Malindo's profitability, how can they charge same or even lower fare price than AA? their aircraft B737-900 is supposely 220-seats for LCC, but they rearrange it into 180 seats with 12 business class...
So, profitability wil be much depend on whether business class can gain popularity among the premium travellers whether willing to pay more to get the service betw. LCC and Full service carrier?
the free-frills and extra seat space will increase their cost structure... cannot compare with AA whc believed is lowest cost LCC among the peer... time will prove the business model of Malindo workable or not in Malaysia...

Can u guys check abt safety issue of Lionair at wikipedia,, this airline's pilots found having drug during their flights,, can't imagine Malindo airways pilot quality izzit same like this?
somemore its LCC model with providing frills but offering same fare pricing with AA, would it sustainable? i think it probably will like firefly operate LCC and forced to shut down in 6 months since have to face cut-throating competition with AA... thinks abt that and history...
