Splitting for liquidity. You are spot on ironmania. this is another approach to beef up company coffers. if you check KPJ's liquidity, you will also be impressed. The past two years were spent on acquisitions of property and building new ones to turn into hospitals. During those periods, profits may show less but NTA would have increased. Today, even at RM1, the stock is pretty undervalued. Of course, the value will show when the quarter results come in in 3 or 6 months when new hospitals open. It is right now the biggest private hospital chain in the country.

You have to make that hard decision. helps if you know charting and need money urgently. but if you are sure of its fundamentals, then can hold long term. I sold last week at a high and waiting for it to correct because last week, I spotted a shooting star. Now waiting .. this is no doubt a good stock, but entry is an important as exit

super888, in any investing environment, the onus is up to the person investing. if you have done your homework, that you find that all the fundamentals of this company is intact, profitability is good, future prospects expected, then you will have to decide whether or not to invest. Doing your homework helps you sleep easy - of course there will be unexpected variables that can pull the carpet under you. But under regular conditions, chances are that you will win more than lose. Of course people can say this share and that share rises like a rocket. But see how many who can ride the rocket before it flies. In an anonymous forum like this, maybe one can take every advice or opinion with a grain of salt. Anyone with any intention can claim good or bad a counter is. Anyone can boast how much killing he/she has made. But unless you see the money, who knows what actually transpired? my two cents. hope it enlightens you. ,Do your homework. Read and read. Rely on yourself, not anyone else's opinion. Afterall, it is your own money that you are investing.

KYY is an all and all an investor. As investors, they are in for the long haul - that means if the PE is good, company is giving good dividends, company making profits, lower debt, higher shareholder funds, etc, the investor will move in. Telling the world or not is his prerogative - of course if the investor is like KYY whose track record is good, people will join the bandwagon. Some people call it herd mentality, following the leader. Perhaps the better way to put it is to let the smart ones do the homework, and just follow.

Heng Yuan went up because of a multitude of factors, including people following KYY's purchases. If one had bothered to pay attention, shouting that the stock will hit a certain high now, despite its technicals and fundamentals dictating otherwise, will show one's understanding of investing. Sure, anybody can punt with a certain measure of success. But the fellow who wins the long race one who makes a little profit consistently from start to finish. Otherwise, it's what Malays would describe as having inhaled air, one must spew smoke.

Like we all know, talk big pocket empty also no one knows. If you know what you are investing in, sure that you have done all your studies, chances are that if you have invested a long time, you will be on firmer footing than those who just follow the damned crowd. Sure, they could make a penny or two more, but one of these days, they are going to be caught with their pants down and be fried like cuttlefish over bonfire. Will CAB yield good returns?
