Going to be interesting day today for AA. Those worried about a big drop after ex-date tomorrow may be selling today. That can happen, no one knows for sure except those with crystal ball or conmen trying to mislead readers. Work hard to be smart but playing the small dips is trying to be too smart and is usually risky, what more when big picture is positive.

If true that Zak is reinstated, that will likely give the stock another good lift immediately. If that doesn't happen, still expect stock to re-rate but will be more gradually over the longer term

No major big picture developments but China's PPI for Aug over the weekend is noteworthy. Big picture was positive to begin with and it improved further last week. This could help sentiment on AA over the coming weeks. No crystal ball and can be wrong but still comfortable with the trade made last Friday.

Big picture has improved further overnight. No crystal ball, can be wrong and can be risky but there may be opportunities for short term trades for tactical investors. The big picture improvement should benefit AA over the coming weeks.

As more steps are taken to put FGV back on track, share price could steadily re-rate. What would a well managed FGV be worth? Keep eye on the big picture! Hehe

So far no missile test to mark NK anniversary on Sat. That is a good sign.

It is not a matter whether money can be eventually made from the stock or not but whether it was wise to keep averaging down as the price collapsed over the years, even if the fundamentals and valuations were good which I don't think they were. There are many better ways to make money, this doesn't look like one to me.

Lets see if the profit taking at the end of the day is well absorbed or not.
