rr88 , your prediction supermx bottom as my prediction bottom almost same , i taken 1.70 lower ,4.60 higher , few year ago , a top master from china give a matematik formula to apply bottom ,using this formula, apply lower ,higher price ,into supermx ,bottom is 2.89 ,2.89 may not be accurate , to get it accurancy , need add on plus minus 10 sen , so range 2.79 to 2.99 will be supermx turning point

Volatility is part of the market. Hence everyone is due to be correct at some point of time. Share price will never be linear. So when drop thhey will say “told u so” when up they say the same thing. Its just matter of time, when wrong they just wait it out for their “right time” to pop up and comment again.

Considering cash... not that meaningless income statement.. latest quarter was better than the previous one.. management generated more operating cash than previous quarter. Pbt also increased. Ofcourse then again, most “analysts” are always obsessed with “net income” found in profit/loss statement rather than cashflow statement.

I still think at rm4 it was way overvalued anyways until further clarification from Agm on its plan. If found that their plans or management have different future views than I thought then shall dispose and move on.

By the way management has always stressed that earliest contact lense contribution will only begin during 2nd half of 2018.

Coming agm should have clearer view regarding the contact lense business, its glove city project in kapar (4 plants totaling 31.6 bil pieces to be built in phases) and 100acres serendah land for supermax business park (16 acres for contact lense expansion the rest for glove plant, support and related purposes).

@wiki123 they do offer free one month trial contact lense for US customers. They go by subscription. Not sure about othher countries though.

Stanley’s daughter is the CEO manages the contact lense division. The reason she started the biz was she underwent eye surgery for some infection due to long term contact lense usage. So she is determined to make the best lenses for herself that’s how it begin I suppose.

I’ve tried their daily contact lenses, honestly it was the most comfortable pair I’ve ever tried.

As i mentioned i am wary of the point of bonus issue at this point. It brings no additional value for shareholders as this exercise they choose not to increase capital paid up from trhe reserves. So it just doubles the amount of shares for no foreseeable reason at all unless they are super confident of future earnings which remains a huge doubt for this company. Lets see what happens at the agm.

Perfectinvestor I believe they are confident of future earnings and want to reward the shareholders through cash dividends and bonus shares. Besides that, the issuing of bonus shares increased the share capital and making it more valuable to the big investors like EPF, etc

@perfectinvestor i understand that this bonus issue doesn’t increase share capital nor reduce reserves. Its stated in the report that sec changed the laws to allow companies to issue bonus shares without affecting its capital nor reserves. So its merely doubling the number of shares and lowering the price for no apparent reason except for being confident of future earnings. I hope they are right on this by creating values for shareholders.
