@getingreal annual dividend is around 6-7% historically, BUT with cukai makmur, not sure if u will still get good dividend onot...better move ur funds overseas.

actually, they are not short-sighted..maybe they look further, like the US nasdaq, which is yielding much better than the poor dividend this counter gave...they're big fish, us equity juz give 10-15% increase, it easily more than cover the loss in klse...
btw, i'm invested in tenaga too, bought at high price of RM11 back then..

for long term investors (or punters), this counter currently is good for the dividend...but for active traders, i tink better move to other counter...cos tenaga is like a big dinosaur / giant, slow to rise... (well, for one, i;m here for the dividend since i started buying bit by bit over the years, and my cost is high, cos bought at its glory days....)

juz sold my holdings in this counter, swapping it to General motor...hope our beloved administration dun drag all the counters to a few years behind / backwards

another strategy, is to take up some loan (be it preferred member personal loan, or credit card with low / 0% interest loan ) to invest in this counter...
since we're in low interest environment, loan would be around 3-4%, and this returns u around 7%, even if u buy it at RM1.9 now..so, its still a worthy investment.

for those new comer, this counter's climb is the same every year...its a stable dividend counter..every year, it will reach around 1.9 - 1.92...then , after dividend, whole year hovers around 1.75-1.76...rinse and repeat..
so yeah, whichever price point tat u enter, within 2 years of dividend, ur cost is actually, 30cents lower. :)
