SHAH ALAM, 21 JUL: Sejumlah RM 1.69 billion nilai pajakan dari Perbadanan Aset Air Berhad (PAAB) dijangka akan disalurkan ke Air Selangor.

Exco Infrastruktur & Kemudahan Awam, Pemodenan Pertanian dan Industri Asas Tani, Zaidy Abdul Talib, berkata perbincangan juga akan dimulakan minggu ini atau minggu hadapan.

Katanya, nilai aset keseluruhan juga dijangka tidak berubah iaitu RM9.65 billion.

Zaidy“Apa yang penting ialah wang pajakan dari PAAB dapat digunakan untuk industri air Selangor apabila perbincangan selesai.

“Dengan wang itu, kita akan gunakan bagi membeli ekuiti ketiga-tiga syarikat konsesi iaitu Syarikah Bekalan Air Selangor (SYABAS), Konsortium Abbas Sdn Bhd (ABBAS) dan Puncak Niaga Sdn Bhd,” katanya kepada Selangor Kini.

Terdahulu, Dato’ Menteri Besar, Mohamed Azmin Ali mengumumkan pertemuan dengan Perbadanan Aset Air Berhad (PAAB) bagi menentukan jumlah aset yang dipajakkan kepada negeri itu.

Katanya, ia perlu diselesaikan dalam tempoh 60 hari selepas perjanjian penstrukturan semua industri air negeri itu dimuktamadkan, pada 10 Julai lalu.

I think we just need to observe milestone being achieved in fulfilling CP (which is not disclosed to public) in master agreement cum supplemental agreement. I think one of CP should be transfer agreement (facility agreement) between PAAB and Air Selangor which shall inclusive water traffic new rate. Upon achieving above milestone, that is the day PNHB s&p unconditional. My take is azmin is thinking how to juggle between a traffic rise and an acceptable price to get splash. Will splash takeover affect puncak deal. I think not likely. In fact, better to complete puncak deal quickly. With puncak in state arm, can isolate n making splash left behind the moving bus...Deal term will be lesser in the name of selangor people well being. Things should move fast post raya. That is my own guess...
