for sure the company is buying back shares with undoubted knowledge of its higher intrinsic value & much profit to be gained over time. Current mkt sentiment is extremely irrational, opportunity for the cool headed.

Malaysian stock market has demonstrated ability to rebound to normal level again after crises like May 13, Sacking of Annuar Ibrahim pol crisis, Asian Currency Crisis, 911, Sars, Lehman Bro disaster etc….

Imagine KSL will come back to above rm2 level again once currency problems are over….:))

at the lowest price but at this price with a historical PE of 1.5 times, its no brainer….

goodguess, I have heard just about the same profit projection figures from a reliable source.
If we are correct, the stock shd easily fetch beyond rm3 per share (many stocks in the same industry trade around 16 times PE multiple)

Dun feel its much loss to Cocoland shareholders...

Probably uncertain situation in China/Hongkong financial markets which may affect their funding

I dun have problem buying into the company at such reasonable price now to enjoy the potentially high net cash nta of rm2.1 per share besides another rm1 per share of other tangible assets. Even in the extreme scenario of the company distributing all the cash i.e. rm2.1 per share & strike a deal with a suitor for RTO on GL Bhd(if the management is tired already)… what is the complaint? :))

One just got to decided whether one is interested in this value gain play, forget about the growth
issue. Realising the tremendous nta value of the company which may take more than 20 years to earn(not factoring in NPV) is fantastic deal!

Pls be informed I still have investment in KSL & remain convinced of the sound value of this stock. May month is traditionally a lousy month & also not helped by political news. In fact I find it very unusual for the bosses conceding to the big hand 'shaving their eyebrow'(in Cantonese-Thai Ngan Mei) & let the share price languished under the recurring vicious attacks right before the announcement of better results. It is very interesting to explore the thinking of the bosses…..

Its good news again to see the announcement by management of KSL of a 40% divvy policy. Results for 31/12/2014 released recently are excellent to me….its no brainer that this is a grossly undervalued gem la...

However, the price of KSL is not behaving satisfactorily I find… For the last few times the price would run up before announcement of any supposedly good results announcement but some big guys would fiercely sell down the shares on the day right before announcement date….the small investors who bot earlier in anticipation of good results but got panic & fear for the worst thus cutting their losses by selling and had to buy back when the announced results are actually good. I actually question whether the owner is concerned about this as by condoning this price pattern he is actually allowing the destruction of confidence in the share price, many would in future sell on any small price hikes & not hold long term for the fair value….also this 'big hand' has the kind of financial power to 'muscle in' on the small investors in such ruthless manner...

To the owner of KSL, it is very clear that its a win -win for all investors if there is the conviction to invest in the growing value of the company but the pattern of such price movement in the past would destroy any confidence among us small investors & the funds... For what the 'big hand' had done in the past, it would have made some money but do not lose sight of the fact that big money is made when the share price can climb to & sustain at its fair value which is much higher then current level… or the current share price is already suffering from the backlash of the doing of this 'big hand' already, trading at below 6 time PE only...
