Green Packet Berhad (“GPB” or “the Company”) wishes to inform that the Company had on 20 May 2020 received approval from the Companies Commission of Malaysia (“CCM”) for an extension of time of 90 days to hold the Company’s 18th Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) pursuant to Section 340(4) of the Companies Act 2016 amidst Covid-19 and the implementation of the Movement Control Order (“MCO”) and the Conditional Movement Control Order (“CMCO”) imposed by the Government of Malaysia effective 18 March 2020 to 9 June 2020.



As such, the original deadline of 30 June 2020 to hold the Company’s 18th AGM is now extended by 90 days to 28 September 2020.



GPB will announce the appropriate date to convene the Company’s 18th AGM and the issuance of its Annual Report 2019 together with the Notice of AGM in due course. The deadline for the issuance Annual Report 2019 had been extended to 30 June 2020 from 30 April 2020 pursuant to the extension of time for issuance of annual reports granted by Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa") to all affected companies as announced by Bursa on 16 April 2020 in light of the MCO.
