it works both ways ... easy to go UP easy to come DOWN too (both are paths of no resistance) ... so, must be very careful when trading counters with BIG BIG green candle like that !!

on daily, if price does not go back above the 20EMA shorties will be aiming for 50EMA support i guess ... further it's like a rising wedge pattern forming signalling weakness in the trend ?? if your trading plan is based on 1H then the stop loss is pretty tight so shud be okay ?? anyways, u gotta be very clear with your trading plan to trade this devil .. i suppose u are trading the futures (cfd or something ??) and not the put right ??

which means the 50EMA dynamic resistance is still legit .. plus there is a confluence with the downtrend line on 1H !!! price is breaking the B line ... shorties at play again with a stop loss above previous swing high (see arrow) ??

thenewbee .. kindly be reminded that my chart is purely on technicals !! no reference whatsoever with development of other indices like dow / dax etc as well as fundamental factors

1) those who missed out that big move will be hunting for 2nd chance to short ... they were probably hunting for a bearish candle when price approaching the yellow zone ... they got it and entered when price broke line A with a stop loss at around X

2) note the 50EMA seems to be acting as dynamic resistance and so, shorties again are probably looking for bearish candle and then short when price breaks line B ... it's too early to enter short now unless we see price breaks line B ???

i am not saying an uptrend reversal but is there not a possibility of hsi testing 50EMA on daily as support like before ??? if drill down to lower TF, we can see clearer the market context .. whereby the yellow resistance zone must be taken out to negate any bearishness .. if this zone does create a problem, then there is a possibility that price will rotate lower ??

i think shud only take position of those oil counters when we see a candle closing above that resistance line (on the 4H chart) .. cuz this is more likely confirming a breakout !

what will happen to WTI ??? the last time when price hit 52.56ish level, down it went ... now, price is just flirting around this level ... possibly forming a build-up for further upside ??? wud like to see more tight bars as such around this area :) if this is so, then target the upper boundary of the channel ..

when a counter breaks out from 200EMA, quite likely (NOT guaranteed) price will pullback to test this as support !! so, am eyeing this level which also coincides with 61.8 fibo retracement level !

mslee .. if u use 200EMA as a line in the sand to differentiate uptrend or downtrend, then atta is obviously still in the red mode !! cud recent surge be a counter-trend rally ?? can't confirm now but price did break out from the 20EMA which had once resisted the upside movement ... however, now price is facing pressure from 200EMA and 50EMA !! so, there may be struggle at this level whereby price may pull back and retest 20EMA as support ... if the bulls regain control, then do watch out yellow zone as your 1st target
