so for me, i will count current waves as subwave 1 and subwave 2 of WAVE 5 unless price dips lower than WAVE 4 that violates EW rule !

if there are any momentum traders who just enter the market, mycron is one classic example how to see NOT to chase when price has soared so much .. u may print out the chart for future reference :-
1) at peak of 1.20, price has completed a 261.8F extension from wave 1 at 0.605 ... it's very common for price to u-turn at 161.8F or 261.8F !!
2) then if u plot an oscillator like RSI / MACD, u will see a negative divergence from 1.0 to 1.20 .. meaning oscillator does not make higher high like price does ! when this happens, correction is just around the corner

if one is a trend trader, it's advisable to let profit run .. trail it with MA or support / resistance etc etc .. for swing trader, just take profit off the table when target is hit and not to feel bad when price continues to hike cuz different strategy yes ??

how u all play h97 / fkli ???? i look at fkli :-
1) higher range boundary - 1640
2) lower range boundary - 1609
3) price now at 1628
4) say cut 1640 - risk = 12
5) say take profit 1609 - reward = 19
6) RRR 1.6 (this ratio can give a good run on h97 or not ??)

okay twobits .. i use your channel to target this upleg movement !!! if cannot break this channel, then your ZZ will prevail :)

bonarda .. better don't catch up in case our subwaves count mess up your HTF waves :) can be very confusing and there are so many variations when it comes to corrective waves ... but no choice if want to play intra-day :(:( maybe one day i shud thoroughly look at fkli .. but then again, this one is 'closed-door' management ... will there be legit elliott waves pattern that needs mass psychology to form ?? hmmm

twobits ... on hindsight, the expanded flat WAVE C 5-waves structure cud have ended at 22380 (not 22509) ... and we start the rally from 22380 as wave A (either 5-waves or 3-wave structure depending on the pattern again) !! are u cool with this ?? :)

1) wave C of expanded flat ended at 22509 (161.8F of wave A - i think i computed 22500ish last friday)
2) then my brand-new wave A from 22509 to 22708
3) wave B from 22708 to 22380
4) wave C in progress

twobits ... the expanded flat wave C ended at 22509 !! from 22509 to 22708 i take it as minor a of a new WAVE A ... 22708 to 22464 as minor b and now processing minor c :) if this minor c exceeds peak of minor a we shud see a -D !!! ps share your count
p/s - there is also a likelihood that she is still in minor b (unfolding 3-waves structure)

b - zigzag (0.50 / 0.786 of a)
b - triangle (0.382 / 0.50 of a)
b - irregular flat (1.382 / 1.618 of a)

bonarda ... try to use channeling techniques from elliott and jeffrey kennedy !! esp the one from JK, they are amazing - base channel / acceleration channel and deceleration channel :)

evel .. before the DUMP, most wud have assumed the big wave peaked at 2.52 was a WAVE 3 .. then to process WAVE 4 pullback before riding on the next WAVE 5 .. but now this 'dream' is dashed cuz the supposedly WAVE 4 has pierced thru' peak of WAVE 1 at 2.03 !! so, no more WAVE 5 .. what do we have ???
1) WAVE A - 1.18 to 2.03
2) WAVE B - 2.03 to 1.31
3) WAVE C - 1.31 to 2.52
after this set of ABC corrective waves, i am going to start another set of corrective waves first :-
1) WAVE A - 2.52 to 1.42
2) WAVE B - 1.42 to ????
u may use fibo to gauge target for WAVE B .. if u look at 38F, it also coincides with previous support turned resistance now at 1.8ish !! draw a wave channel for WAVE B and follow the price till it breaks out of the channel !! if u have a look at 15m, looks like minor a of B is done with 5-waves structure .. if u see any dip now, it's gonna be minor b of B and next minor c of B with a preliminary target at 1.8ish :) gotta monitor for any new data that may invalidate above observation ..

if wave 1 then it shud be the subwave 1 of WAVE 5 !!! but this can easily be violated if the dip now goes lower than start of wave 1 at 22070 ..
